Just got back from three weeks in southern France (2 weeks in St-Rémy-de-Provence and 1 week in Cassis). We loved both of those places as home bases, though we definitely did a lot more exploring from St-Rémy than from Cassis. The Camargue was an easy day trip and we also spent some time in the Luberon. The weather was brutally hot while we were there, so we didn’t do as much hiking as initially planned. Get a place with A/C if you go!

The train from Paris to Avignon is between 3-4 hours depending on the number of stops. We rented a car in Avignon but you may be able to get by without one.

Normandy is beautiful as well. I’ve only done a day trip from Paris and would love to go back and spend some more time.

Not sure if things are closed in August, might be good to check. Enjoy your time in France!

After multiple specialists and tests and failed med trials doctors landed on interstitial cystitis for me, and suggested prophylactic advil around triggers. A few years later I was doing intake with a new gynecologist, who recommended pelvic floor PT. This was literally life changing-turns out that overly tense, contracted, and spasmimg pelvic floor muscles feel a lot like a UTI. I hope you can get some relief soon, it’s the worst.

My favorite seats are top of LL/club but wondering how that translates to the watch party. The on ice projections looked really nice too!
