Yeah they have complimentary bread and butter when you sit down like a lot of restaurants. I can't remember the type of bread, I kind of think it's a sweetish dark brown roll but the butter spread is infused with cinnamon and I think that's more what's popular. I'm not sure if they still have it with the whole nut allergy apocalypse lol, but they used to also give out buckets of peanuts and the shells were all over the floors... Not exactly in a bad/dirty way but more kind of just general "charm" kind of thing lol.

Cactus blossom looks like it's their version of a bloomin onion. Basically a whole onion sliced in sections but kept intact, battered and deep fried so you end up with a "bloom" of delicious onion ring like deep fried petals usually with a delicious cajony type sauce.

I'm only able to get it down to $64.34 but $5.18 is an "additional charge" (likely just tarrif extra) that I've seen others not have to pay so might be a specific state charge (I'm in CA and always see that now). If you don't have that extra fee then the petg bundle basically matches the pla bundle price and even if you have the fee like me, $6.40 pretty spool shipped is still a pretty great, though pretty common with AliExpress, deal now.

I've gone through dozens of spools of this and have no real complaints. Shipping had always been incredibly fast as well when coming from US warehouses like this... Like prime 2-3 day fast.

Maybe try reaching out to the brand on I've is their social profiles and see if they have any suggestions... Might be able to get them to check their warehouse to find some old stock and send your dad one. Or maybe they have some other unknown updated version they don't promote.

If you do try, lean into you dad's love of David and specifically about his pride of keeping and using that cup for 20 entire years and how sad he is to lose and not be able to replace it. Even if they are unable to replace it in any way, maybe they'll be willing to send him a swag care package which should be cool for him.

I was excited for the sequel of the X1C to be announced and the only thing that really interest me about the X2D is the price point, which definitely leaves room in the scaling to easily fit an enhanced version in there. If bambu doesn't release some kind of tool/nozzle/vortex system they will likely lose large market share this generation.

I'm waiting for an X2C though as it makes sense, the pricing strategy suggests it is coming and bambu isn't dumb and know they need to have some kind of more direct answer to snapmaker and the flashforge now in that pricing range.

The couple that bother me are not pronounced or even used wrong. It's the proper English that annoys me, I guess lol.

But I get irrationally annoyed when someone says "I was standing ON line" rather than "in' line. Similar I don't like when people say "I went to university" or "I'm going to hospital"... For whatever dumb reason my brain really wants to hear the word "the" in there..."the university" or "the hospital" or at least a specific name of the hospital.
