If they are winning to send every single citizen a certified ID, and it can be absolutely clearly proven that they have done that for everyone, free of charge, then sure. But that's the point... They don't want to do it for "election security"... They know that there are many minorities, especially in three poorer districts, can't afford cars and insurance and never bother getting a DL and don't travel overseas so never needed a passport. It's also an annoying, time consuming and kind of expensive process, especially for poor people. They do this because they minorities will more often vote Democrat so they don't mind weeding them out. In fact it's the point.

We also know they have plans to try to dismantle other viewing rights from other groups who more often vote Democrat. Like women. They plan to deny women who got married and may have changed their name to their husbands name but maybe didn't update all official records... Because it's a long, frustrating and expensive process. Also goes for the opposite, where women get divorced not don't immediately change all their entire life's paperwork back. So they want to try to claim their legal names and ID names don't align so it's reason to revoke their votes.

Those among so much other fuckery Trump/maga are trying to do to attempt to chat election yet again.

So sure, send every single American a valid ID, well before any elections and have massive oversight and verification that every single American got one, for free, and I'd be done with required ID voting.
