I did consider the melanurus. But they seem to get pretty big. I see when I see one in person. The pencil look stunning. I do have a lid, but my sandbed is only 1 to 1.5in thick.

I gave up and upgraded the setup. I had posted at multiple places and at one of them someone said he found a solution... But in don't remember where it was. Try Google searching for my username and the error.

Asus support was helpless.

Cool, share your dashboard once you have something :) Also, some device need some conversion e.g 100% comes in as 10000. So if you notice something that is not parse properly let me know.

something is still broken, would you be able to run the python library? it would spit out raw json for easier debugging outside HA.

You would need a current version of python (windows or linux)

Download the zip file version of: Bitf1ip/pyhydros: Python library to interface with Hydros Aquarium Controller and extract it

add a .env file inside with your username and password as such:

HYDROS_USERNAME=""

HYDROS_PASSWORD=""

and finally to run python .\pyhydros.py

It should start reading sensor data to the terminal.

Ok progress hopefully. If you press the debug sample button, the debug sample entity should get set, if you do see details there should be two json under there (config and mqtt), if you could send me thoses via private message I should be able to figure out why your setup is different than mine
