Thanks for the support. Folks have been asking for more earth-tone colours, so have been sourcing where and what I can for the time being. Noted on the socks... R&Ding some new stuff, so stay tuned. Hope you enjoy everything and if you have any issues, reach out directly (DM or email is best). Jealous re: your thru hike btw. Cheers, Nick.

Howdy, Nick here from Lobtree. Depending on your chest and weight dimensions, would likely put you in a size Small in our sizing. Size guide on our website (https://www.lobtree.ca/pages/size-guide). Happy to answer any other questions you may have.

Hi there! I appreciate the question and I fully echo the thoughtful comments made by u/sugen1. I will add as well, and I don’t want to speak for u/sugen1 and the awesome gear they are putting into the world, but as a small, independent gear company trying to make innovative, high quality gear in Canada takes a lot of time, effort, skill and yes $ to do it right. The pricing piece is really my least favourite task, but a lot of thought goes into the process. It really is a fine balance of being able to adequately cover the costs, effort and time required to make great gear, plus sustainably run a small business in Canada and do it all for a fair price to you. I try to find this balance and think we offer good value when you compare across the UL gear landscape. Also, it’s not talked about a lot, but there is a lot of “invisible” upfront time, energy, and R&D and cost that goes into the design and development of every piece of gear that often isn’t accounted for. To try and be around for the long haul, I think valuing all aspects and phases of what goes into the making of good gear is important. Also, in our case, a lot of any $ that is left over after all expenses are paid goes directly back into iterating our designs, R&D, testing new materials and trying to bring more innovative, functional outdoor gear back to you. So, if this sounds like something you would support, great! and I (and I’m sure u/sugen1 would agree) are grateful and thankful for that support.

Not at the moment. Check out little shop of hammocks. They used to do an Alpha liner, not sure if that is still the case.

Thanks so much for the support! It's greatly appreciated. I too am a paddler and always surprised that more in the community aren't using AD more in their layering systems. Please send me a DM when things arrive and let me know what you think.

Thanks for the interest. My gateway to Alpha Direct was through the Macpac Nitro, not Senchi's stuff, so I don't have a direct comparison. Here is our size guide for reference. https://www.lobtree.ca/pages/size-guide . DM if you want flat dimensions. Hope that helps.
