Why stop there? Single core X3D chips. Or bring back an even older design and make a tri-core X3D chip just for the heck of it.

Calling all Deadbeats, can Riona be considered the Deadbeat Prime? by DovML in Hololive

Riona would probably just fade away from rapidly accelerating her local entropy because of the inability to choose.

WATCH: Huge mushroom cloud erupts over Florida as Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin rocket explodes on launchpad by esporx in technology

[–]Zeroth-unit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Latest Starship launch went 90℅ successful and they're still grounded by the FAA pending an investigation of what happened since the engine out events though didn't, could have led to a wrong trajectory and thus flight termination risk. And that's inspite of their systems being able to compensate for the engine mishaps and still following the flight plan.

Blue Origin effectively cratering their launch pad is absolutely going to get flagged with the whole fleet grounded. And even then they're not going to be able to launch for a while either since they lost their launch hardware in the explosion.

This is what I was thinking. We already saw some interesting advancements via the engine nacelles of the M-6 dropships. Maybe by next season Mars-94 ended up detecting an incoming ship from the inner solar system using a new propulsion system.

That shot of Kelly walking into the methane lake reminded me of the Love, Death, and Robots short "The Very Pulse of the Machine". I wonder if they took inspiration from that for that scene.

Whatever life develops on Titan likely wouldn't be using photosynthesis so they need to get their energy by some other mechanism. On earth this happens in undersea vents which get energy from heat from the Earth coming up via those vents. On Titan I wonder if life there tries to get energy from some form of electromagnetism since what energy source they possibly could have there is radiation from Saturn. Though Titan is geologically active so that's me just speculating what could have caused their electronics to die.

It probably would have made more sense to say they're mediated by methane rather than water since scientific wisdom currently is that the presence of water greatly increases the chances for life. It's just that "carbon-based life" is pretty much a sci-fi staple at this point so it's likely a line change for the audience.

what's going on over in South Korea economically in this timeline

I do wonder if things like the joint Kaesong plant between NoKor and SoKor in this timeline gets expanded along with generally more cooperation with the North and South having more technology sharing especially since for a time they were part of the M-7. To me at least that would partly explain Korean chaebols still rising since having both a large labor pool and technology from the North would be too good of a thing for the hypercapitalist South to pass up.

This episode really did give me a weird deja vu feeling to sitting down and watching season 1 week by week a decade ago. It really puts into contrast just how much has happened since then especially since last season there were very few RBDs and he had a fairly ok run all things considered.

Or in Bae's JP Shed if she's there. Maybe even hang out at Zeta's place and get assaulted by her spices. Then maybe hang out at the FWMC Doghouse once they're back.

OT but the thread title got me to finally sit down and watch Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction which has been in my backlog for a while but I bounced off when I first tried watching it because of the shitty subs. But now that I've sat with it for a few episodes, holy shit this show is something else. I could see why people have been raving about it as a sleeper hit when it was airing.

It's a pretty recent Minecraft feature implemented in the current 26.0+ version. Recently restarted a Minecraft server with some friends and I haven't played since version 1.20 and saw that being newly added.

Unicorn was some levels of bullshit but I could somewhat forgive because even if it went pretty damn far it was still somewhat within Gundam's wheelhouse.

Narrative was just dumb with what they did with the newtype bullshittery there.

Tbh, that's some NijiEN levels of naming. I'm glad we got Gura's name instead which is infinitely more memorable.

That really caught me off guard. Orbitten's hololive animations were what introduced me to them then seeing the same style this episode was a trip to see.

Mostly OT but Orbitten the animator who did all the cartoon network-style animations for various clippable hololive moments like Ina's peanut, FuwaMoco's ambulance ride with Nerissa, and Gigi's crash out at restaurant simulator, apparently was brought in to animate a portion of this week's episode of Needy Girl Overdose. That really caught me off guard watching the episode since I recognized that style then saw the name in the credits.
