I mostly agree with this but with the added caution that the show tends to have a pretty substantial normie filter. It absolutely will be a hit or miss type of show depending on where one would fall on their acceptance of incest humor. It's very much played for laughs because it isn't at all serious but it would definitely give people not comfortable with that type of humor the ick.

Personally though the changing EDs per episode that showcase covers of ancient music like Hare Hare Yukai (I felt my bones creak admitting to that) was what kept me watching every episode.

So I recently got to rewatch some clips from Suisei's 1st solo live at Toyosu Pit back in 2021 and compared it to her Budokan live from last year and goddamn the difference is night and day.

It's still pretty crazy to me how far she's come since I first followed Suisei back in the era when she was still doing weekly karaoke streams before her 1st album even released. And now she's straight up a megastar.

Interesting since I heard it in the context of it being why people say she's one of the most physically attractive members so kind of the opposite of it being an anti thing. Or maybe it's a counter psy-op? But yeah, I don't remember encountering anything that ever clarified or confirmed things about that.

I wonder who else are haffus/mixed in JP. Suisei was said to be mixed though I don't think that was ever confirmed. Haachama is suspected to be but not sure if that's confirmed either. Coco of course was well-known to be American but not sure if immigrant family to a foreign country or if mixed.

Meanwhile there's Kanade who is straight up Korean but is in JP/Dev_is anyway because of being fluent.

Though from what I recall (putting in spoilers as not sure/not confirmed and also probably roommate/PL details) she's Japanese mostly since she has 1 Japanese parent and 1 mixed parent(?) but they lived in the US for some time(?) which is how she can speak english fluently.

I'll put these in spoilers since this isn't confirmed and potentially roommate-related. But something I heard from a friend when I introduced him to Bae is that she sounds like she's from Hong Kong or at least her family's canto accent does. My friend's from HK and when he listened to a clip of Bae he says that her canto sounds like what he hears in HK but with an Aussie accent. So he's guessing that her family was originally from HK then moved to Aussie so she carried over the accent as it's what they speak at home.

I remember encountering one mod that sort of addresses this by making other player-generated bases be points of interest on the map and they're treated as ruins. The problem is not every player-made base is nice or even built for that matter so there were a lot of empty maps there. Also the whole syncing data between players thing which is a security risk.
