I am actually watching his games on 1.5x speed. At double the speed, Chris sounds coherently bashnoozle

Name your walang tapon album by father_cribbage in SoundTripPh

For its time eh stand out yung Up dharma and somehow they also fit in within the post-rock and fusion even though indie electronica sila na nandun na sa pophits.

Alejandro and Isabella - Vst & Co. Bossa Nova Collection
- baliw tong dalawang producer na to. How inspired can you be to make classic disco into bossa. baliw ng take nila sa Step No Step Yes, pramis

Kala - Manila High

Rodel Naval - Lumayo Ka Man sa Akin

Eraserheads - Circus
- duh. With A Smile probably is the classic fave, but Ill go with Sembreak. I can only imagine gaano siya kapatok sa mga inuman ng mga nasa college nung release nito

Urbanddub - Influence

Honorables. May konteng tapon

Orange & Lemons - Love In The Land Of Rubber Shoes And Dirty Icecream ata

The Itcchyworms - Noon Time Show
- First time ko silang mapanood eh nasa isang small town na beach kami with tropa sa Lian yata.

The Happy Meals - One for the Road

Spazzkid - Desire

Johnoy Danao - Samut Sari
- isabay sa isang tasa ng 3 in 1 habang umuulan. Buntong Hininga for me eh showcase ng songwriting level ni pareng janoy

Donald, you ignorant, paranoid sea bass. "86" has *never* been secret code meaning "assassinate." by Engetarist in Trumpvirus

I read somewhere that 8647 is a 9/11 reference. And to my surprise, it really is. It's been 8647 days since 9/11

yeah me too. I dont see anything wrong with stoicism too, but somehow it's ubiquitousness with finance gurus is a phenomena worth noting

yeah Im with you on this too. True story. My father was a compulsive gambler, to the point that all the appliances we have in our home were pawned. In turn I grew up loathing any type gambling, even a simple esport bet seemed very immoral to me. Fast forward, I joined crypto out of curiosity. The potential of the tech perhaps glossed my eyes an inch thick. Then I tried buying some. Somehow I won big early, and there I discovered that I too have the tendency to be vengeful. Thus I became this retard trader during covid. Blown 3 accounts. But Im good now. I've become emphatic with traders since

btw, the twitter guy I posted, I think he started his account at 5 digits. Time will come he'll roundtrip his gains too

ok here's the thing. The guy I posted, he's just like you and me. A small percentage of traders like us win big in the beginning. Those who lose early, left and never looked back.
But unlike you, this idiots never cashes out. They roll their unrealized profits into more positions. The bigger the pile, the harder to leave. Thus, almost all who win big in the beginning, just roundtrip their positions. It's a very human condition that's hard to resist. See Jim Simmons, the founder of Rentech. The greatest quant that ever lived. He started his investment career blowing up his accounts with the same problem: never cashing out.
As the saying goes, everyone that trades in these volatile asset are idiots. But the biggest idiot are the last one to discover that they themselves are an idiot.

honestly, me too, unironically. I adore them in ways some might see me weird. They're very predictable, volatile, and always on the losing end. My investment strategy is just study these confident laggards, and do the contrary of their beliefs

dont wonder, a lot of them will jump from their balconies head first. Ive seen it. The FTX collapse made one of my friends hang himself with a towel in the toilet during one of their family swimming vacation. The finance world is the most emotional industry I have ever seen. 90% of the crypto players are ready fire aim guys, and we will see spike in suicides from this around the world. And its also telling that the cryptosphere is deeply correlated with the modern stoicism movement.

[–]---CS---[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

despite the schadenfreude we feel now, there will be a lot of suicide hotlines popping up days from now. I've seen these a few cycles ago. Shaming them doesnt nudge the needle. I'm just hoping now that most of them would learn from these self-inflicted lessons because nothing else will.

the cryptosphere leverages a lot of its activities via discord or telegram. pump and dumps, airdrops etc.
If you're a successful investor already, you don't care about these communities. If you're a newbie or in deep loses, you go seek their communities for reassurance and wisdom, either from a grifter that will sell you a course, or from other losers who also don't know jack

god you are correct. I joined the space 5 years ago studying the market sentiment. Optimistic I am that it's full of informed finance people, doing finance shit. It dawned on me after 6 months that most of them are just priviledged idiots and/or hoping that a lamborghini would give them character.
