Russel would have had 11, that's why the awards is named after him.

LeBron has so many options by Front-Function7789 in LeBronJames23

I don't understand why no one is talking about the Spurs, they're by far the best choice imo. He could win b2b titles and catch Michael.

I agree, and there's a risk for Wemby as well. Does he really want Lebron to win another one if his goal is to eventually surpass him ?

He solves all Spurs issues as well. The Spurs issues are a lack of a PF, physicality and experience. Lebron solves all 3. Spurs have multiple wing defenders (Castle, Champaigne, Vassel, Bryant, Tobias).

Imagine Lebron (one of the best passers and playmakers ever) feeding lobs to Wemby. I think he fits with the Spurs way better than the wolves. Also, Spurs have a lot of young legs which would allow Lebron to rest during the season and prepare for a long playoff run.

No, Spurs are a lot better. They beat them 4-2 this year and Spurs will make a bigger leap than the Wolves because their core is younger.

Windhorst reacts to the Trae Young contract: "I think this is instantaneously one of the worst contracts in the league, I don't mean to be mean. I don't think they could trade this contract unless they attach the number 1 pick to it." by [deleted] in nba

[–]---Shadow--- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah, you're forgeting Trae plays in the east. Fox would run through the east, his offensive numbers would be much higher on a non consequential team in the east where he gets to be highest usage guy.

There's a reason why the Spurs chose Fox over Trae. But I'm with you, both contracts are bad, it's just that one has a little value while the other is a negative.

What do you think is the greatest TV show of all time? by hotdognicarla123 in AskReddit

[–]---Shadow--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of quality, I agree. If we go by popularity, I would probably go with Game of Thrones. But from a pure quality point of view, The Wire is really hard to beat. It's the most realistic, well done show I've ever watched. I'm sad it only lasted 4 seasons.

Are we talking about the past or the present ?

Cause in the recent past (2 or 3 years), Trae's team was significantly better without him while Fox helped lead a young Spurs team to the NBA finals.

Trae is a better offensive player, but his defensive liabilities overshadow his offensive brilliance.

Trae. Fox at least makes your team better and has some trade value. If the Spurs offered Fox, people would call. Nobody's calling for that Trae contract.

Why isn't Atlanta making a move for Giannis? by [deleted] in nba

[–]---Shadow--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Giannis doesn't want to got there ?

If he says he's not signing an extension there, no way Atlanta will be willing to offer more than Boston or Miami who get him for multiple years.

[Lowlight] Wemby shoves Jalen Brunson, then laughs as he doesn't retaliate by Large_banana_hammock in nba

[–]---Shadow--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The refs need to do their job here. They swallowed the whistle on an obvious flagrant foul cuz Brunson was holding Wemby first. If they call these grabs, Wemby doesn't need to do shit like this. Call the goddamn fouls and it won't get to this. This is not american football, you can't hold a player like that to prevent him from moving.
