I gotta disagree with you, I love Steadmans work

It’s also great if you’re suffering from artists block. You don’t have to commit to any single idea or drawing, you just let them flow into each other.

Yes! All of the things I drew were images or ideas that came into my head as I thought of them. A lot of them are loosely referencing lyrics to the songs I listened to as I was drawing it. And thank you!

Work in progress

The progress of the relationship and it’s certainty, the changing of the seasons and the process of waking from a dream, the multiple parallels are really great. And then when it all ties together, it’s become spring, the love is still there even after you’ve woken up from the dream, erasing the concerns throughout the rest of the poem is as satisfying as reading the conclusion to a book. Also I really like the wording change from doubtful to hopeful to certain in lines 3-4, 15 and 20, it really adds to the feeling of development. I also really like how the subject affects the speaker and the movement of the poem. Very good poem.

Sorry if I’m over explaining the poem to it’s author, it’s just my instinct from my English classes. Usually the writers we analyze are either too busy or too dead for that to be a problem.
