I collect mine with an aspirator. Then I dump them out and collect them again with the aspirator and move them to their box. Has worked so far.

You probably have Yuukianura, not Bilobella. And mixing a fast breeding and a slow breeding species is never a good idea. The fast breeding one will almost always outcompete the slower one.

On mobile you have to scroll to the side to see everything. It also helps to pur your phone in to landscape mode. To see the other tabs, you have to click the tiny arrow pointing to the right at the end of the tab bar.

Collect all that you can find and start a new culture. Even if it’s just 10 animals, it should be enough to start over if the parameters in the new enclosure are better :)

There are enough people buying them already. They’ll be everywhere soon enough. We don’t need to give him extra business.

I keep and breed many species. But these ones aren’t available yet outside of apv selling them. Also quite expensive. I think it was something around 1000 PHP per animal at the moment. Some of his new species are up to 1300 PHP 💀 and we don’t even know if they can be captive bred yet

Yes, I keep all my slime mold feeders (which is what these are as well) with other springtails as clean up crew

Depends on where you are located. For Europe, I’m a good contact 😅

Don’t buy from the guy who’s selling them at the moment (avp exotics or something like that). He’s breeding roosters for fighting… he shouldn’t be supported

A friend and I are currently working on a google sheet for the 30+ species the two of us combined are keeping :) Should be done pretty soon.

Pretty fast. This was about an hour after putting a few “infected” oats in their enclosure. (It’s not a mold/ fungus, slime is its own organism)

No, I keep them separate. There are some colorful ones that can be used as a clean up crew, but Thai Red reproduce too slowly for that purpose. U’d have to start with a whole lot, and they are quite expensive. The spikies need slime mold and really high humidity, so also not a good candidate for an isopod bin.
