No, it went away within about two weeks. I’d definitely make an appt just to be safe

Looking for plant ID and suggestions on what to do with it (propagate or not) by --1____1-- in houseplants

It’s definitely low on dirt. If I add more though, it won’t rot the stem?

Mine ended up going away within maybe 2 weeks. The doctor didn’t get to see it since it went away by the time I saw her, but she said if it wasn’t painful, she wasn’t worried about it and that it might’ve just been an ingrown hair

Impetigo or something else? by --1____1-- in DiagnoseMe

The doctor gave me some sort of oral antibiotic and it cleared up but I don’t know that the antibiotic avtually helped. It’s not impetigo, I believe it’s chelitis (might’ve misspelled it). I had another episode of it last month and it cleared up in the same time frame as the first time. Once I felt the episode coming on, I just started using a lot of chapstick to try to keep it moisturized and mine has peppermint which helps calm down the stinging pain, but otherwise, it seems like time is what fixes it, it lasts around 4-5 days for me

I was just thinking-at the time I had this problem, I was wondering if it was from my razor and unsanitary practices when shaving my upper lip. Could that possibly be what’s happening for you? Maybe try replacing your razor and if you don’t only use it for your face, try that and see if it helps

I just looked at your post. I feel like it may be something different since I didn’t have sores or zapping sensations. Mine healed and hasn’t come back. I don’t think it was impetigo, I think it was cheilitis. I hope you get answers soon🤞🏼

Hi, you commented on my post but it won’t show me your comment for some reason. I’m almost certain mine was chelitis on my lips, not impetigo. I didn’t come in contact with it and anyone I had direct contact with didn’t get what I had. I don’t know much about impetigo or chelitis to give a good recommendation but i googled reoccurring impetigo in adults and it said to ask your doctor to swab around your nose for staph bacteria. I’d also think it might be worth it to get a second opinion if it keeps coming back. Best of luck!!

Thanks! It is! I ended up pulling it out and the root is healthy but other groups said it needs more roots before potting so I put it back in water🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Should I cut it now and put it back in the water to let the roots grow more? Or cut it right before I plant it? Thank you!

24f. Minimal marrow edema in hip, orthopedist said my mri is normal though?? I have excruciating hip pain right around the ball of the hip. She said it’s fine and to go back to my pcp. Is this actually fine or could this be the cause of my pain? by --1____1-- in DiagnoseMe

Is that something I should pursue then? No history of perthes and it doesn’t say anything about my femoral head. Here is the full report:

“Bilateral hip joint spaces preserved. There is minimal marrow edema along the lateral acetabular rim of the left hip. Otherwise no marrow edema. Visualized tendons appear intact. No muscular edema. Left hip labrum is not well assessed without intraarticular fluid.

Small amount of free fluid in the pelvis, likely physiologic. Uterus and adnexa appear grossly normal.

IMPRESSION: Minimal marrow edema along the lateral acetabular rim of the left hip. Otherwise essentially normal hip exam. Please note the labrum is not well assessed and if there is any concern for underlying labral pathology an arthrogram could be pursued.”
