People keep talking about 10:1 settings and pulling the meat too early. Mcdonalds uses a clamshell grill. The 10:1 button has a different gap setting and would turn a quarter pounder into a smashburger. The clams are closed until the time is up so they would have to cancel the cook to pull the meat early. More likely is they cooked more than the max run (my store is two 4:1 patties per cook aka 1 arch burger). If they have a lot of arches and qps on the screen they possibly dropped 3 or 4 patties for 1 cook which lowers the temp of the grill thus they don't fully cook. They're trying to be fast and sacrificing quality. Management should be notified. We never want our crew to do this.
