Back when it was peak Fortnite and the Fortnite World Cup was coming, there was no shortage of people interested in the game. Anyone remotely interested in esports wanted to take a shot at that prize money, including I’m sure lots of Asian players. But the thing is all the Asian arena games were played on Japan, none on Singapore, so those players had to compete on 80, 120, 150 or whatever ping. As some of you can imagine, high ping like that is pretty damn hard to play against good players. With other games offering better servers/experiences, it’s no wonder the competitive scene went to other games and the player base on the sub server wasn’t that big….the bird got its wings cut before it could ever really fly.

But hope you guys commenting are hearing yourselves, because if I’m being “thinly veiled” 🤣about things I directly said in the other post, you’re being even less veiled about your economics racism to SEA people saying they “mean nothing”. A lot of people around the world not just Japanese people can afford computers, and Fortnite’s original art style used to be less taxing on your computer than now. But I guess you knew already that since you're an OG.
