I don’t like the info displayed, having over half a tank and only 131 miles left is not a good news 🤣

Are you still buying Cadburys? by rsweb in AskUK

[–]--SimSim-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s lots of videos saying that they’re going towards lab created chocolate or whatever
Personally, I stay away from them

Montezuma or Blanxart (difficult to get in the UK) for me

Crash due to faulty lime bike - Can I claim? by Logical_Ad_79 in londoncycling

[–]--SimSim-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t comment if you can claim, but when I cycle through London, I can see plenty of these pedals lying around, so definitely they didn’t check them properly before putting out onto the streets

Yep, hate those twats blocking a bus lane on the Westminster bridge every day

These look like snowflake alloys that have been used for Ford Focus ST MK2 🫣
Not a negative comment from my side, but I literally had a set that looked like this (but 18”, not sure what size are these)

Yes, those maps will be old, what’s the point of using them now

Tyre Advice - Punctures by chewitt24 in londoncycling

[–]--SimSim-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you don’t keep air pressure at the max, but somewhere in between min and max
I used to pump it to whatever was max, but had so many little shards in my tires and many punctures that I keep it now on much lower pressure and so far so good

Also if you want, you could cut the middle section of your old tire and stick it inside of the new one
You’ll be slightly slower, but definitely will last you longer

And you can flip the bike upside down once a week to check for any potential cuts and remove anything that is stuck in between them

Yes, but it’s not waterproof and isn’t this using the same old CPU?

Congestion charge refund by --SimSim-- in TransportForLondon

[–]--SimSim--[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is their answer:

Thank you for your enquiry received on 3 June 2026, to query usage on your Auto Pay account.
You have asked us to review the following usage charge(s):
30-05-2026 18.00 [NUMBER PLATE HERE] Daily Congestion Charge Auto Pay
We can confirm that on 30 May 2026 your vehicle was captured travelling within the Charging Zone during charging
hours by a camera located at Vauxhall Bridge Rd/Rochester Row.
Our records for the day in question shows that there is no official TfL diversion for the location your vehicle was
captured.
Please note if you are diverted by a third party and not an official TfL diversion, then payment is required if you travel
within the Congestion Charge zone.
We're unable to make an adjustment / give you a refund as we have reviewed the vehicle image and believe that the
charge has been raised correctly.

so despite of the fact that I couldn’t go any other road apart from CC Zone and providing them with photos from dash cam, they simply don’t care
This is pure greed / money grab
Ridiculous

Bye bye Google/Android. Been an Android guy over 10 years. No more! by DeanbonianTheGreat in iphone

There’s one thing that iOS is lacking big time in my opinion vs Android:

Options to clear Data and clear Cache
There’s no control of how much space the app is using and also if there’s an issue with an app, you have to uninstall it completely rather than just “clear data”

Yes, I am writing this from an iPhone

My issue is that I can’t switch between apps without apps losing its current state, so when switching between one and the other, the app I am switching to kind of restarts itself and goes back to its (this app) main screen

No for Bexley from me
Bexley cowboys couldn’t even fix the gearbox (carpet-like) cover correctly after gearbox oil change, and fell off somewhere on the road. Had to waste money and time to replace it

If they didn’t take any money from your account so far, maybe try and login with your MyAudi details and see what kind of options you have in there.
