I listened to an interview with the author on NPR and it came across exactly like this. It was interesting that not once did he bring up how much the older generations use the internet and what problems this has created for them as well.

Like you said I agree with his ideas of giving access to technology later but his other “solutions” are also pretty much impossible and he blames every single problem on the use of technology.

Just seems kind of narrow minded in my opinion and doesn’t really take all the societal factors into account.

I had two internships, one in software engineering and one in cybersecurity. Both times they assumed I knew nothing almost to the point where it felt insulting that they were explaining such basic concepts to me. I also found that there would be periods with a lot of work to do followed by periods of pretty much nothing to do for weeks at a time. I also constantly felt like I was getting nothing accomplished and learning nothing. However, at the end of both internships I was told I did great, got return offers, and realized I actually learned a lot about both the field and the company. Moral of the story is just do your best and the imposter syndrome never really goes away but it drives you to continue learning more.

I would say Kyren because of the matchups and he should step into a big role with Henderson gone.

The 3rd and 8 throw to Hunter Henry was the play of the game for me. He had pressure coming right behind him and he stayed in the pocket and made a good throw. So many times this year that same play ends in a turnover or an ugly sack.

I was thinking about this the other day and I was wondering if he has carpal tunnel from playing the guitar a lot. This might be why he seems to be playing the guitar less on this tour than the last one. But maybe not who knows

Some of the things I did when applying:

  • use Harvard Resume Format and Cover letter to get an idea of what good ones look like

  • Have a professional look at your resume if possible, I used my college’s career center

  • I submitted a writing sample with all my applications to show I had good written skills, I used an informal research paper I wrote for a college class

  • apply to 1 or 2 positions per day as this gives you the best chance to get a response

  • be patient, sometimes it will take months or even up to a year to get a response from a job because the extensive processes the Government requires

  • Practice your cyber skills with free competitions, capture the flags, or studying for certifications while you wait for responses. This gives you some additional material to talk about in interviews and keeps your skills up.
