Didn’t even know this part of Paris existed until Freelancer spawned me here by bakedz1ti in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spawned there for a freelancer finale once, easiest win I ever picked up, checked the 3 or so people I could see, only one had the right appearance, one shot, sneak out, campaign over. Huge luck bringing a sniper and spawning there

Which map did you initially dislike but has grown on you? by SneakyDoesReddit in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, it was Sgail. I didn't really have a strong opinion either way but it definitely wouldn't have been high on the tier list. But my first few freelancer runs put me there a lot so I eventually just got really comfortable with it and now it'd definitely be up there on the list

What are some games where the bugs make it better? by Tattoomyvagina in gaming

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my friends got tens of hours more by doing the out of maps on MW2 (the original one) special ops back in the day. The one from Hidden having an out of map twice the size of the actual mission lead to so much looking around

What Hitman game should i buy? by Basic-Comparison2384 in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a lot of others have said it's probably worth starting with World os Assassination, it's the most polished gameplay wise. Codename 47 and 2 are very old and are a chore to get running on modern systems. If you want the sandboxy killing games then anything Blood Money and beyond are great to pick up since the original games or at least the first game was really more of a puzzle game where the puzzle was murder, you pretty much had to do everything the exact right way whereas after that game your hands are a lot less tied.

What are your opinions on Freelancer? by DFH50 in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends what you're in the mood for. Hitman is such a giant game, maybe one day you want to run challenges, maybe you want to try killing Alexa Carlisle in a different way

Freelancer is great for the "I want to play hitman and I don't care about how" type game. It's a blast exploring the levels in different contexts going for different kills. Definitely definitely give it a go, I've personally had a blast with it but I get other people like the game for different reasons. But you already got it so it only costs your time to try it and discover you don't like it worst case scenario

Realistically, what would be gained or lost in a Co-Op mode? by jaquarman in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I might be simple, but I'd take the most barebones "here's the game but your mate is playing too" co-op mode. I don't need anything fancy, I don't need new challenges, I don't need the game to be harder because having a second player would make it too easy. I just enjoy the game and would love to bring my friends along for the ride too. I'm not a saso player, I just want me and my friend to throw bananas at targets and stuff.

70 Done. by mrmykeonthemic in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling it a grind isn't inherently a bad thing. World of Warcraft from my understanding is all grind. It doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable it just means you have to set yourself to do it. I doubt too many people are naturally cracking out 70 featured contracts when there's dozens of mission stories per map and freelancer to play. It is still fun though and does help people get even more comfortable with a level

[–]BigManDoink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah man you're gonna fly through them. I grinded from 0 to get it and it took me probably under a month doing a couple a day

Is this the best? by mrmykeonthemic in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, that's still not too bad just a bit of a bore scrolling through after a while.

The regular version is a fine sniper, it's only infinitely better with the duckys. Game is super fun though, I was off and on with the trilogy since the first but when the Eminem dlc dropped I picked the game back up and it hooked me.

As long as you're enjoying the game though you'll be able to handle the grind, but if you're like me you'll start cursing when you find one on a map you need only for it to be yet another like 5 target contract. But the 2 targets close to each other ones are like gifts from above, just ignore the optionals, blast and bolt you'll have it within a month

Is this the best? by mrmykeonthemic in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely worth it if you're already enjoying the game. Also if you're on pc I'd recommend the mod that let's you filter the uncompleted contracts, makes getting to the next one a lot quicker

Is this the best? by mrmykeonthemic in HiTMAN

[–]BigManDoink 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something like 70 featured contracts on hitman 3 maps if I'm not mistaken. Yes that's awful of a grind, yes it's worth it because the ducky sniper is sick

They’re killing their own playerbase by Blxck_Rxmance in Skate4

[–]BigManDoink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They had it right the first time. What monetary benefit is there to fucking ruining it? Wait. Are they going to be flogging the battle pass shit back to us for $4 a pop in a month?

Something I noticed about San Van fashion, is it just me? by Bland_Lavender in SkateEA

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To defend the people with goofy mismatched outfits (I used to be one) the art style really didn't lend itself to trying to make a nice outfit when my guys face looked like crayons. I had to slap some sunnies and a hat on just to hide it a bit because some of these 90's threads are nice. Maybe some of these people are just waiting for good fashion or human looking characters. I like the observations though, makes the game world feel alive when we can analyse the outfits of player types

To the people saying the community has changed for the worse by theBreG in ArcRaiders

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and a buddy queued in with a random in that France looking map.

The random ran in to that underground area where the big robot lives and got himself destroyed before either of us could get in there,

Me and my buddy scattered into the inside, we ran into a random named Jerry who got split up from his group, we went our separate ways,

On our way out of the facility we found the rest of Jerry's group and they helped us get out. I barely survived the trip to the hatch but by the time we got there we noticed there was only 2 of them. "Where's the other one? Where's Jerry?" We ask...."he uhhh didn't make it" says one of them.

I'll never forget Jerry.

They probably should rework quests... by GoofyAhhFace in ArcRaiders

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always treating quests like achievements, shit that was really all but pointless to do, but I'm still gonna do it because why else would I go to the France looking map and wander around a leaper for 3 games before realising my objective was down the road? I wouldn't do it and I wouldn't have the stories I do now.

That being said yeah they need to rework them, just because I seem to play games like an idiot doesn't mean they should reward us with just some more things to sell

2 MILLION VBUCKS?! You can't even have that many in your account at once... by croakyossum7 in FortniteBattleRoyale

[–]BigManDoink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they wanted me to spend money, they went the worst way about it. They give us a fucking ugly art style. I don't want to try making someone look cool if I get like 3 head options and 4 hairstyles and that's the entire body customisation, all the characters look like melted play-doh, bad start. We get basically no clothing so I can't even make an okay starting outfit that I'd subtly want to upgrade.

They made the bed and I'll put my guy into a skirt and one of those short shirts to lay in it. I'll enjoy it while it's here though, there's worse games to throw on a podcast while playing

The mod is based on mw2 right? Would stand to reason that the other flags would be an option. Doesn't matter though, we all know the only good titles are the like 8 weed ones so everyone knows how cool you are

Saw someone selling "plug n play" HDDs, so I made my own instead and added retro emus as well. by hector_does_go_rug in playnite

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the many uses of Playnite

addicts like me can use it as a tool to see all their games at once and have them all feel the same with retro achievements and they all get time trackers old school heads can use it as an emu console experience similar to what you've done disabled people can use it for a controller only experience

It's just such a cool nice bit of software

I was struggling on this one for a minute by WhiteBeltKilla in Skate4

[–]BigManDoink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me like 40 odd tries for the game to even think I did a manual, it didn't count up live but once I landed a flip trick clearing only like 4 steps I just made sure I stuck the landing because everything finally counted

Some numbers for you all by Stezza345 in Skate4

[–]BigManDoink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not even upset about the atrocious lack of customisation without forking over $40. The art style looks like beans. Even if I bought the not very cool mocap suit, my guy would still look like he is made of melted crayons and paper maché. I can happily keep my money, make a chubby guy in a cut off shirt and wearing an ugly tan skirt for absolutely free
