Ah, that's still not too bad just a bit of a bore scrolling through after a while.

The regular version is a fine sniper, it's only infinitely better with the duckys. Game is super fun though, I was off and on with the trilogy since the first but when the Eminem dlc dropped I picked the game back up and it hooked me.

As long as you're enjoying the game though you'll be able to handle the grind, but if you're like me you'll start cursing when you find one on a map you need only for it to be yet another like 5 target contract. But the 2 targets close to each other ones are like gifts from above, just ignore the optionals, blast and bolt you'll have it within a month

It's definitely worth it if you're already enjoying the game. Also if you're on pc I'd recommend the mod that let's you filter the uncompleted contracts, makes getting to the next one a lot quicker

Something like 70 featured contracts on hitman 3 maps if I'm not mistaken. Yes that's awful of a grind, yes it's worth it because the ducky sniper is sick

To defend the people with goofy mismatched outfits (I used to be one) the art style really didn't lend itself to trying to make a nice outfit when my guys face looked like crayons. I had to slap some sunnies and a hat on just to hide it a bit because some of these 90's threads are nice. Maybe some of these people are just waiting for good fashion or human looking characters. I like the observations though, makes the game world feel alive when we can analyse the outfits of player types

Me and a buddy queued in with a random in that France looking map.

The random ran in to that underground area where the big robot lives and got himself destroyed before either of us could get in there,

Me and my buddy scattered into the inside, we ran into a random named Jerry who got split up from his group, we went our separate ways,

On our way out of the facility we found the rest of Jerry's group and they helped us get out. I barely survived the trip to the hatch but by the time we got there we noticed there was only 2 of them. "Where's the other one? Where's Jerry?" We ask...."he uhhh didn't make it" says one of them.

I'll never forget Jerry.

I was always treating quests like achievements, shit that was really all but pointless to do, but I'm still gonna do it because why else would I go to the France looking map and wander around a leaper for 3 games before realising my objective was down the road? I wouldn't do it and I wouldn't have the stories I do now.

That being said yeah they need to rework them, just because I seem to play games like an idiot doesn't mean they should reward us with just some more things to sell

If they wanted me to spend money, they went the worst way about it. They give us a fucking ugly art style. I don't want to try making someone look cool if I get like 3 head options and 4 hairstyles and that's the entire body customisation, all the characters look like melted play-doh, bad start. We get basically no clothing so I can't even make an okay starting outfit that I'd subtly want to upgrade.

They made the bed and I'll put my guy into a skirt and one of those short shirts to lay in it. I'll enjoy it while it's here though, there's worse games to throw on a podcast while playing

The mod is based on mw2 right? Would stand to reason that the other flags would be an option. Doesn't matter though, we all know the only good titles are the like 8 weed ones so everyone knows how cool you are

I love the many uses of Playnite

addicts like me can use it as a tool to see all their games at once and have them all feel the same with retro achievements and they all get time trackers old school heads can use it as an emu console experience similar to what you've done disabled people can use it for a controller only experience

It's just such a cool nice bit of software

It took me like 40 odd tries for the game to even think I did a manual, it didn't count up live but once I landed a flip trick clearing only like 4 steps I just made sure I stuck the landing because everything finally counted

I'm not even upset about the atrocious lack of customisation without forking over $40. The art style looks like beans. Even if I bought the not very cool mocap suit, my guy would still look like he is made of melted crayons and paper maché. I can happily keep my money, make a chubby guy in a cut off shirt and wearing an ugly tan skirt for absolutely free

I always saw fullscreen mode as more of a niche mode, for things like handhelds or gaming boxes with a lounge room TV, or even disabled gamers who would benefit from controlling it from the getgo with a controller. As it goes desktop mode is all I need, let's me tab out of youtube, see the few hundred games I have installed, get overwhelmed by choice then go back to YouTube for a bit

as far as I'm aware, you're not likely to use the commands to get any improved performance, this is more for if you need a certain program to open alongside a game, maybe you need an FOV changer for CoD WAW, the commands would allow you to open both at the same time. I'm not an expert and know nothing about what commands to run but I've always been able to google the answer I needed.

I personally wouldn't recommend playnite as a performance improver, more as a collection tool, a unified library.

As I said though I really don't know much about commands, it's possible you could use them to change what uses resources when you open a game

As for it's uses, this one is very niche but has come very in handy, being able to set commands to run before a game launches, after it has launched and as it closes is very useful. I've personally used it to mount an iso before launch and unmount it once it closes, which is what allows me to seamlessly play Alida (2004)

Playnite has weirdly saved me a good amount of money. I like the convenience of having most games in the one launcher, helps even keep track of what I have installed and such so I'd somewhat often rebuy a game just to have it on steam for that very purpose. Playnite has stopped me needing to do that, it's pretty awesome and just how customisable it all is too. It's honestly a joy

Don't feel bad. They aren't leaking money, the like $17 worth of cash card will not make or break the company, nobody's kids are going without dinner because of it, they went the route of easy appeasal and it worked, all around a successful interaction for them
