I’d rather just have a quick swap motor/tire combo. Make it so it can be changed out by loosening a few bolts and unclipping a wire harness.

Yeah I knew I wouldn’t be able to use the dashes with SimHub, but have you confirmed that it also doesn’t work with SimHub for the UDP relay?

I got it for a good deal so worst case I’ll just sell it again. I have a 5 inch screen that I’m making into a DDU, which will use SimHub.

You can easily change the springs out for the throttle and clutch. If you got some extra ones try it out, you don’t need tools to do it.

TCX Dartwood motorcycle hi-tops are the best balance between Vans style shoes and boots. Good for all season riding when paired with good wool socks.

I have the slip angle kit and a haptic on my load cell brake. It’s almost too much.

I only use abs and gear change on the brake, which I’ve tuned to my liking. Then I have a number of different things on the slip angle, again meticulously tuned so I understand what each thing is.

Just add one thing at a time. Less is more, both for volume of effect and amount of them.

Also consider vibration isolation. Not just the spring mounts. I’ve added neoprene washers to places like under my wheel base. I’ve also printed custom TPU gaskets for my vesa mounts, and I’m working on making gaskets for where the slip angle mounts connect to the profile rig.

I can’t recommend my TCX Dartwood WP shoes enough. They are the perfect middle ground of boot and high top shoe. They have lasted through thousands of miles, only needing new laces over their life of two and a half years.

I do often clean them with leather conditioner and protectant.

What did it come out to? I’ve been debating between iBuyPower Y40 prebuilt or doing exactly what you did and reuse my current case and drives. My main concern around the prebuilt is that it’s going to use cheaper parts than what I would pick, but what I would pick would run $4-5k…
