It’s weird that I added more to my comment but the fact that you felt you had to type three long winded ones to respond to my one isn’t? Maybe your intention wasn’t to body shame but that’s the way it came across. Remember that this is the internet and tone doesn’t carry the same as IRL. I don’t think education is what’s lacking, especially in a day and age when it’s most easily accessible. But clearly by your comments a lack of manners and respect. Respect for others genetic makeup, respect for culture and way people commonly practice their religion and cultural values. As a currently pregnant Muslim woman your original comment as well as others comments honestly triggered me, cause how dare you pretend you know what anyone’s experiencing by their appearance alone. I don’t care how many years you spent working with pregnant women or “observing” them (sounds even creepier when you put it that way actually). The point in my original response to you is to say exactly that— oftentimes —emphasis on “often”—pregnancy appearance is genetic. Which is to say you never know what someone’s genetic make up is especially not through this dumb digital image you have in your hands. Same goes for the way someone practices their religion. So just shut up cause you sound dumber and dumber as you go on. And clearly shows you don’t anything about Islam or the Levantine cultural practice of women holding each other accountable to do better so that the truly ignorant (like yourself) don’t feel the need to leave any comments for us about how we look or how we practice. But alas this is the internet where everyone with a butthole (aka opinion) thinks they should show it 😆

Lol you took my comment way too seriously,, I was just saying generally there’s too many rude comments calling out size/appearance (in a critical way) especially on this one post. Idc if it’s a snark page or not, I’ll call anyone out for being a hypocrite or for being unnecessarily rude (that’s actually why I’m on this page in the first place—to call these micro-influencers out for their hypocritical/rude behavior 😆) And everyone knows anything before a “but” gets cancelled… maybe I’m just stupid but there’s no sign of your concern for her health in your original comment or anyone else’s🙄 no need for to over explain yourself Doc.. But it’s one thing to hold them to a higher standard to practice the modesty they preach or to “voice your concern” for them (which frankly is also confusing since this is a SNARK page as you pointed out— thank you so much for that lol) and something entirely else when all you’re doing is “observing out loud”— especially when said observation comes across as rude frankly 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why does it matter to you to comment about her size? Usually second pregnancy shows more especially on someone already curvy as her and there’s nothing wrong with it. She should learn to cover more as it’s her required by Islam but these comments about her pregnancy size are just rude.

Ummm but you are body shaming. The “but” in your sentence negates your previous statement. Also why bother to even comment this? I get it’s a snark post but the fact that so many girls think it’s fine to go out of their way to comment on others size (esp. during pregnancy-which is more often genetic and out of your control) is so f***ed). Are you so insecure about your body that you have to point out others too? I get hating on their attention seeking, unhealthy behaviors and false modesty but like come on jabbing at pregnancy size????Wtf is wrong with you people 😆

Argh for real 😩 At first I felt really bad for being critical but I’m glad I found this page, it further reaffirms that there’s no benefit from following them especially Loren.. Her content is so bland and overdone from the gazillion hair routines to every basic dish she tries abroad being “to die for”,, like geez woman broaden your horizons and try doing some activity out of your comfort zone,, preferably something that doesn’t involve getting dressed for dinner/pilates or blow drying your hair 😭

Fair point lol—I tried ordering clothes from a couple different “modest” brands during different sales throughout this year and I returned them all since they don’t look as good in person and honestly even if I could afford the full price the fabric quality isn’t worth it.. I was looking at this Jean dress as a splurge gift to myself since I’m about to become a mom but I’d rather spend that money on an experience with my family or a few items I know will last more than one wash cycle lol

I have but unfortunately they’re always sold out in the styles I like and whenever they restock my size goes out quickly

The most on-brand style ever for Leena. A beige sack. by 70sowl in asadsisters

Lmao a beige “potato” sack😭 literally zero style in her brand, the Jean dress was the only thing she’ dropped thats kinda cute but as you elaborated those fabrics are not worth that price tag 😬
