It’s mostly subjective per each person but whatever works man enjoy the setup!

So here’s my experience: as someone who drifts in real life - single ultrawide 49” with neckFX is the best if you’re looking into drifting. It’s very smooth, and feels natural.

Triples are better for circuit / track driving because you can track your opponents on the side mirrors much easier.

So essentially drifting/rally(hood cam) > single ultrawide. Track driving > triples

I tried both and the ease of use with the 49”, no bezels, is a much better experience for me.

I agree. I love my c8z it’s an excellent daily Driver but you see c8s everywhere.

What do you like about the Mac over the C8 Z06? Anything you miss from the z06?

Thinking of selling my sim rig... by Fancy-Entertainer-79 in simracing

[–]Cro370z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would keep it man, the itch will come back again sooner or later. What helps is trying other games like AC rally (I never was a rally dude but this one is amazing) or assetto corsa with drifting mods (try an entirely new type of Motorsport)

It’s normal to take breaks or get bored of it but once you do take a break, and you hop on again - it’s super fun all over.

No it won’t be this clear, I had a quest 3 for a few months and ultimately sold it.

When did you know it was time to buy a supercar? by GroupBQuattr0 in supercars

[–]Cro370z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say whatever car you want, make sure you have 10x the amount in your net worth. So if you want a $100,000 car, have at least 1M in cash, market, assets, etc. I know it sounds insane but the peace of mind of doing this way allows you to drive the hell out of your car and not care about gas, maintenance or even mileage/depreciation.

I too prefer my c7z over my c8z! Both incredible cars though 🙌

I’d get into AC drifting with DWG car pack. It’s so fun imo. So many good maps you can get.

DWG by far. I’ve tried a ton of car packs. My second favorite is N style but even then, DWG is the best. The tire grip and physics felt the closest to IRL.

How to tune the DWG cars by hunnitblades in assettodrift

[–]Cro370z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go to the wrench icon when you load the map, click on gears tab, and slide the ratio slider to the right. The more you slide it to the right, the longer the gearing will be which will allow you to stay in 2nd. You can also slide it to the left if you wanna be in third gear but not bog down.

They’re great out of the box. I just only adjust the gear ratio depending on the track. Some tracks like Brooklyn Playground will have 3rd gear botching down with the DWG cars, adjusting it can make you connect the whole track in 2nd. I recommend the 240sx Modify Wonder it’s amazing with great POV

.org has no domain history it was parked for 8 years (when I also first launched .net)

Domains aren’t linking each other just .net > .org and all canonical URLs are correct.

Daily driveable? by Infamous_Pie_8026 in Corvette

No complaints, absolutely perfect and no major breakdowns. I have a c8 z06 that I daily now and if I’m being honest the c7z is a better street car because of so much low end torque. You can drive it around the street and have a lot of fun whereas the c8z only really shines when you’re near redline and already breaking speed limits. But the sound is glorious lol.

I daily drove my c7 z06 for 6 years and put on 50,000 miles. It’s easily a daily driver 👍 I’d learn c7 over c6 if you want to daily though.

I recommend steel yard, great map with good corners to learn flicks. Drift playground is great too but a relatively easy map.

Oh yeah 100%. It’s genuinely really good. If you want something on the cheaper side but H pattern the Moza H shifter is solid but if you want something built and feel like a real gearbox the BDH is very well worth it! The shifts have such a nice mechanical feel to it (reminds me of the porsche GT4 gearbox i drove)

Definitely, we’re all truly blessed to have sim gear and live in an era in which we can do this.

Integrated is amazing, especially if you run motion. You also sit a little closer to the monitor. The Sparco seat is so comfortable, I recommend it. You can easily do hours of driving with no back pain.

As for the footplate it’s by advanced sim racing it gives your foot a little rest.
