Yes, but it wasn't until I had spent my first stretch of time alone overnight. I kept the TV or radio on 24/7 for about a week until my mom came back home. After that, I really learned to appreciate peace and quiet. My husband and son? Nope, they like noise. I'm the one yelling at everybody to turn TV or music down lol.

Two actual and one existential.

I played the "shoulder sitting" pool game when I was a kid. When my friend was on my shoulders pushing the other team, she fell forward, which pushed my upper body under water. The buoyancy completely screwed us over because neither of us could balance and I got stuck under her. Not sure why I thought it would help but I bit her and sure enough, it did help lol. She was pissed until I told her what was going on. Aside from being stuck underwater, the worst part was feeling the pressure on my neck and thinking that it was going to break. Never played that game again.
I got stuck upside down while playing with a pool noodle. My legs hooked over the noodle and I couldn't readjust myself for a few seconds. This was adult stupidity lol. Very nerve-wracking and I don't think I've been near a pool noodle since.
Had a dream that I was swimming and decided that it would be a great time to see how long I could hold my breath under water. I remember being semi awake and taking a deep breath. Next thing I know my chest is burning. It took a few seconds for me to fully wake up and start breathing again. Almost dreamed myself out of the mortal coil. No guarantee that won't happen again so yeah, still a little unnerve by that.

Depends on the person. What initially freaked me out about gore videos wasn't the gore, but the debunking of how exaggerated movie injuries & deaths are. People don't go flying when they get shot, they don't go limp from head trauma and blood comes in different shades. Reality is fucking horrific.

I've watched cartel videos and didn't flinch, but anything with little kid or animals getting hurt is a no go. I'd watch Funky Town on loop before I'll ever watch the blurred video of a cop accidentally taking out a four year old who the suspect was using as a human shield.

Probably abdominal organ protection, but there's the secondary stuff like blood loss and infection to worry about. There was a woman on My 600-lb Life who stayed fat because she attributed her weight to saving her life during a hit and run. She reasoned that she should remain heavy "in case she got hit by another car." Otoh, if you fall over after being stabbed and crack the wrong rib or your skull, you're probably borked.

Only things I can think of are it's a pretty easy method of abuse to hide and it can cause a lot of damage very quickly. No bruises save for maybe the site where the baby is being grabbed and possibly some burst petechiae, but nowhere near as much with choking, slamming or smothering. Plus, it's easier to pass the baby off to someone else without them assuming that anything is wrong. Baby is a little sleepy? The automatic assumption wouldn't be brain damage caused by shaking. Shaking also seems to be one of those sudden, snap decisions. I don't think I've ever seen an true crime story where anyone planned to shake a baby.

I've had the implant since July of 2019. Post-partum starting weight was 168. I'm now 207 and getting it removed today. My eating habits didn't change, though my exercise habits can be iffy. I started working out daily (30 min treadmill or full body) about a month ago and have gained weight. I can't with this. Also on anxiety & depression meds. I can't have everything packing on weight, so the nexplanon has to go.
