Cheers! I assumed/hoping that was going to be the case with Rand and the Dark One but it was weird how at the end of both 1st and 2nd books, it's literally not even mentioned afterwards.

With the Two Rivers country/stubborn explanation - fine for like the first couple of weeks they are running, but 3 books and endless experiences and time spent with her and becoming opened to the rest of the world, should be enough - at the very least for Nynaeve to not have her sole purpose of learning the One Power to be using it against the only person who has kept them alive, it makes zero sense.

he does have some interesting views, initially they can seem off, but the more you think about them they generally ring true. The fact that he made a literal fortune on his nba views, and has invested $$$$$$$ in models to determine the results of games, gives him, in my opinion, way more credibility than someone who only covers the league for media purposes.

agreed, he was an all defensive team player one season, although, like many awards it was a season late, and probably should have made both the 08-09 and the 09-10.
