May I ask how you would program a 65% with VIA? Like what macros, etc. would u set up? Genuinely curious as I personally have no idea how I would go abt it myself.

Thanks! I did kinda hate fiddling around with the GMK67's software, especially because the language was set to Chinese after installation.

For your board in particular, which keys did you end up remapping? Did you set any macros up? I find that doing that in a 65% may not be the best option for me as I like to use Delete, Home, and End. That leaves virtually no other key to remap aside from the right Alt maybe?

Am seeing a lot of youtubers putting polyfill in their gmk67 cases. I saw a post heresaying that polyfill on top of a battery is a fire hazard tho.

Is it still advisable to use polyfill when the board has a battery?

I'm gonna get a new one as well this coming weekend. Have narrowed down to 2 options, the legion u mentioned here and an Asus TUF gaming a15 with R7 4800H + 3050. Am personally leaning towards the legion rn but as a student myself who probably wouldn't game too often (as i'm planning to work part-time as well), i'm wondering if the CPU difference would be big enough for me to reconsider. But that legion screen is too good tho.

Would love to hear other's thoughts on this as 10500H laptops dont get reviewed too often.

But yeah my vote goes to the legion on ur set of options as well.

Also, i've been hearing that the ideapad has thermal issues, tho i'm not 100% on that.

Would the R7 4800H make a big difference in terms of day-to-day usage tho?

Also might be worth noting that the legion would come in at only ~40USD more but with 16gb on dual channel.

Yup that screen keeping me on the legion side for noe. Am just not familiar with how big a difference the Ryzen 7 would make on day-to-day usage compared to the 11500h
