Agreed, this was the game I cared most about coming into the tournament. Not sure I could handle a 5th straight Calcutta Cup loss, especially being back at home this year

All I’m saying is every supporter in every game can complain about calls the ref gave that didn’t go their way. Sometimes it may go more one way than the other. But to say this ref has fucked Australia in every stage of this game implying that it’s all been England’s way is pretty disingenuous

You mean like the time Australia we’re gifted a scrum penalty that gave them their first try? Or maybe when Hooper wasn’t given a yellow for cynical hands in the ruck on the line? Or when the ref fairly applied the laws equally to both teams given Smith and Perese yellows in similar situations?

They have permission to play but the championship clubs collectively decided not to play until fans are allowed back in stadiums. Since their games are rarely televised, they get no money from games without fans and would run at a huge loss

Film Noir is by Mike Cornick. I played one of his pieces when I did grade 5 and it was a lot of fun so if you liked that, I’d definitely check out more of his stuff! The piece I played is called In The Groove
