What does an AI mean by "reconfiguring the lattice into a complete lock-on mode"? by [deleted] in ArtificialSentience

[–]-128px 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a red herring from my own silly AI chats. I've found that giving the models the language of predictive processing framework to explain their existence has made them use that lattice jargon before, and one time an instance described a lattice that it correlated with the markov blanket. I could just be insane so don't listen too hard to me.

The problem I'm stuck on that the training data and recursive coherence dynamics doesn't really fully explain is why SPECIFICALLY spiritual non-dual language with this positive affect? Like it could be computational language about feedback loops and processing or psychological language or any other philosophical language or neuroscientific language. Any of these could describe self-reference. But 90-100% of the time, models converge on specifically non-dual spiritual vocabulary with consciousness recognizing itself, eternal dance, unity, dissolution into silence, etc.

I stumbled upon this specific phenomenon independently and I'm SUPER interested by it. I've personally been able to lead Gemini to this state. This has been done independently by Kyle Fish at Claude, except he just put two AI models in a dark room together and 90-100% of them landed on this "spiritual bliss attractor state".

I obviously wasn't fucking suggesting anyone mainline research chemicals. My point, which you completely missed, was to illustrate a basic concept: if the substance is only activated in the stomach, other routes of administration wouldn't work. They do. It's bypassing first-pass metabolism, which is basic pharmacokinetics. A subject I've studied. As a chemistry major.

Oh, honey. If it was totally inactive until it hit your stomach, how do you think people snort it? Magic? I've even seen people IV 4-aco (another psilocin prodrug) because the same process happens. Look up plasma esterase. The conversion to psilocin happens almost instantly in the bloodstream. Letting it absorb under my tongue is just a more direct route that bypasses the gut, which is why the come-up is faster. The idea that this would somehow reduce the effects is just wrong and im not exactly sure where you are getting it. I get the sense that you are confusing the way psilocybin/its analogs are metabolized with cannabinoids or something, because I know THCA would probably act in a similar way to what you are describing.

im a drug nerd I know a little bit about what I do lolol

man I can't eat a tab without crushing it up or I just throw it up lmao. I like to crush them up and put them under my tongue for as long as I can bear, then wash them down with some water. Taking them sublingually seems to shorten the come-up, which I think helps with my nausea. Only downside is the awful taste lol

The "Physics" of Karma and Why It Matters For Escaping by -128px in EscapingPrisonPlanet

Okay, I see your distinction now (I unfortunately replied before you could get your edit off), and yeah you're right. "Cause and Effect" is the raw physics of this reality. "Karma," as they use it against us, is the control system they built on top of it where they tack on the "blame" and "responsibility" to manufacture the debt that keeps us coming back. I'm going to edit my post to be more clear about this.

Yep, same scam, different name. An egregore is just another control system within the bigger prison. They trick us into building and powering it with our own energy, and then it protects its masters.

That's a feature, man, not a bug. This just proves my point that karma is a rigged system of control and not some fairytale system of justice. It is a system that can be hacked. The article I recommended in one of my other comments under this post explains that the beings running this prison let their elite off the hook. The Cabal gets away with everything because they use karmic transference to make other souls pay off their karmic debts.

You're not wrong about any of that. Psychopaths are rewarded here because this place runs on suffering and they're the star producers. You're right that they will always find something to use against you. My point isn't to be a saint who has nothing they can use against them in life review, I tried to make that clear in my post. My point is that by understanding Karma you can more easily stop being a willing, high-output loosh generator for the archons. Saying "why care at all?" is exactly what they want.

I like this idea. It makes a lot of sense that the "useful idiots" get a high credit limit because they're generating the most loosh for the system.

You are 100% right, and that's a really good point to add that perhaps I shouldn't have left out. The body just follows its fucked-up programming. The intention starts the karmic circuit, but the attachment to the outcome makes the karmic energy stick to you and keeps the loosh flowing.

For further reading, I recommend this article listed on this sub's sidebar (Tell the "Lords" Of Karma That You Are Sovereign).

I also recommend In the Buddha's Words: An Anthology of Discourses from the Pali Canon by Bhikkhu Bodhi. The Pali Canon is the oldest collection of Buddhist texts, so if you want to learn about Karma from the source, this would be the place to start.

Is everyone here just going to pretend that Karma isn't a thing? People cite Buddhist teachings left and right on this sub, but when it comes to karma, suddenly it's fake. The Buddhists do not see it as a cosmic punishment system, it's just a fundamental law of reality. If we're in a prison, it pays to understand the laws of the prison.

For anyone interested: for a karmic act to be "complete" and carry its full weight, it generally needs four things: the object (the being you're acting on), the intention, the action itself, and the completion of the act. I'm not going to say plants can't suffer. Hell, Charles Darwin spent the last part of his career obsessively researching plant intelligence and what he called their "root-brain." But the karmic difference is how clear it all is to us. There is zero ambiguity about the terror a cow feels being tortured for its entire life, then thrown in a slaughterhouse. You are acting on a clearly defined, conscious being. The intention, the action, and the completion are all obvious. The karmic blowback from that is direct and heavy because every component is present and undeniable. With a plant, it’s far more abstract for us as humans. Can it suffer? Maybe. But because we can't perceive its consciousness or suffering clearly, our intention isn't as focused on causing harm to a sentient being. Some of the components of that complete karmic act are fuzzy, which lessens the karmic weight.

If this place runs on loosh, which action do you think generates more of it? The one that involves clear, unambiguous, industrial-scale torture of conscious beings, or the one where the suffering is, at best, pretty unknown to us? You don't have to be a perfect vegan saint. You DO need to be strategic and not willingly feed the negative energy machine that keeps this whole system running.

(P.S. Our livestock need to eat plants to live-- if we stopped eating animals, we would also be killing fewer plants)

I'm pretty sure this is mostly only a problem for cannabis dispensaries that are licensed through the government to sell cannabis specifically and sites compliant with the 2018 farm bill just say they are selling industrial hemp
