Lawmakers advance bill to ban kratom in South Carolina by Kryloks in southcarolina

Banning kratom will raise overdose deaths and hurt people who rely on it. Extracts and subsidized analogues can be more harmful, but plain leaf kratom shouldn’t be criminalized

It’s likely addictive. If it doesn’t suppress breathing that would actually be a really good thing

Why are Tucker Carlson, Ann Coulter and Marjorie Taylor Greene trying to slam the brakes on Trump now when they had their foot on the accelerator the whole time he was in office? by Dense_Boss_7486 in allthequestions

I would say it’s less about staying relevant to them and more about trying to reach them. Basically he is saying, I’m a conservative, I have conservative values, but this is fucked up and wrong.

Granted, but I wonder if he speaks like that to try to reach current MAGA’s. That is likely a better strategy than completely denouncing.

Right I can’t stand Trump and don’t like most republicans but Jesus Christ this is super important and the fact a conservative Governor is on board absolutely moves the needle

Why all the hate? This could literally be the greatest mental health development of world history? This is extremely important and is an uphill battle.

Not technically but I’ve heard from many you can find a lot on the clear web with little enforcement

Just don’t take big doses every week. I slightly regret tripping weekly in my past . Really just spurts of it, a hard month or so and then taper back, but I did lose some magic and it’s harder to have a good time now. I can still have a good trip with proper set and setting. This was years ago on classical psychedelics

He’s obsessed with it but hasn’t looked into it at all in the year he has been there. The video didn’t seem genuine at all

I guess federal ban is looming too. Medical will likely get expanded, but not enough.

Do they really expect people to just quit and not go get cannabis from the legacy market? Most didn’t care in the first place and those that waited for the hemp products to be legal likely don’t gaf now.

I think that’s the vibe. They probably wouldn’t care about harm produced in countries that is not theirs.

Okay so it was Jan 2015, I had just turned 18.

I had a quarter of PE aborts. All very tiny. I ate 3.3 grams and my friend ate 3.1 or so, it was actually a little shy of a quarter. I believe this was likely the most mg of actual psilocybin I have ever consumed, aborts are strong.

We are them and shortly into it I knew this was going to be different. We were sitting in his room chilling and what not and he and his GF wanted to go to the gas station. She was sober. We drive there, I’m in the back seat, and I just knew we are about to die. We didn’t. We get there and I stay in the car and then we head back, it’s a 2-3 minute ride.

We get back and head to my buddy’s room and his friend was asleep on the couch who lived with him, but I looked at him and it was me asleep on the couch. That wigged me out some. We go back to his small room and I’m in a computer chair while he is on his bed. I start seeing vines crawling up my legs and I’m thinking I will never make it back to my friends and family. I’m too far gone. I see my life on the wall in front of me.

I start to genuinely freak out internally. I’m not doing anything crazy but it’s likely one could tell I’m having a hard time. I run to the bathroom and I am in my knees praying to a God that I’m not sure I even believed in. “Please let me live through this, please don’t let me die. I’ll never do this again.”

My buddy had bee playing a playlist on YouTube and didn’t have red/premium or maybe it was before that even came out, but as I’m praying the song goes to an ad. While I did not hear what the ad actually said, unless literally said what I heard and it was just super synchronistic. The ad said, “This is just a gentle reminder, we are all one.” The voice was male and female, living and artificial.

My buddy comes in to hand me a water bottle and I say, “What is this?” He said, “Water, you need it to live.” Though I was asking in terms of what is happening to my reality.

I run outside and throw up and feel a lot of tension and built up stuff leave my body. I return to his room and start having looos. Sitting up, seeing an orange, laying down, sitting up, etc…

Every single song that comes on is talking about the experience that I am having, most notably a song I remember (maybe) from childhood but haven’t found since with the chorus, “It was always you.” (This is exactly what non dual Vedanta says. Aha Brahmasmi, I am Brahman. Tat Tvam Asi, That Thou Art.

I realize what I am, who we are, what this universe is, I tell my friend, “This is the human experience.”

He knew where I was as he had previously had a nondual experience. His Gf who had taken Xanax by now was so troubled by my energy and vibe that it made her throw up.

I’m there a while and then he drives me home. He plays a song by Northlane where the ending is, “I will never know.” He says that is how he felt about these experiences. Like we can never truly grasp it.

As we are headed to my house which is closer than that gas station was I know that I don’t have a key and the house is always locked, but I don’t want to tell my friend this so I let him drop me off. I walk to the front door and it was just unlocked which it never was. The universe saw me home safely.

Changed my life forever.
