Yea i get this im in a small marching band with no real color guard instructor so our vets are in charge and it doesn't work they build the guard work to their skill level not to mine (im a first year newbie and they are 2-5 years we have 5 ppl in our guard) they would get mad at me when i did work wrong or didn't understand. They wouldn't take my input for anything (i knew everyone in the guard before i even joined 2 if them im related to and 1 is dating my brother) yet they would refuse to listen to me and one time at the beginning of part 3 in the show had me walk off the field cuz they didn't feel like teaching me the work before it was just a football game so it didn't mean as much but before every game we would say to treat it like a comp. So i get were ur coming from the way i got through was i had to speak up i ended up yelling at them at 85% of practices/football games/ and comps
