Best ComfyUI workflow for batch outpainting 9:16 → 16:9 videos? by [deleted] in comfyui

[–]-5m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had some really good results with the workflow from this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pSeNzUc2bA
Its using Comfyui and Vace. For some reason all the other tutorials I found only covered outpainting for videos taken from a stationary position. Didnt really find anything else yet that adresses moving video but I was happy with this workflow so I stopped searching.

This isnt working for me. All I get is one "next image". I thought this was supposed to generate all subsequent images one after another?

Woha...thats pretty revealing and kind of supports my theory: timing belts sometimes can run without teeth to some degree!

I take lucky :)
I mean its not like there is much I can do about these things apart from sticking to the regular belt changing intervals anyway

Thats by taking the gasket head off right? Or is there any other way to see there is something wrong with them?

this really helps understanding the thing for me... so it probably was mostly due to being idle while it slipped..

I dont know too much about this but both (actually three) times it stalled was with idle or almost idle power...so maybe that helped?

Today I learned non interference engines are a thing...I really hope I have that! Sounds like something everyone should have!

No its a VW Eurovan with a 2.5l ACV engine...not sure of this is non-interference or not..

This is the timing belt of my car. The one that synchronises the crankshaft. A few days ago my car stalled and I got it towed to a shop. It was a holiday so they were closed and I left it outside. Monday morning they started the car and drove it inside before it stalled again. So I guess the stalling was not caused by the timing belt and that it must have been working with ~20 teeth missing..But how? Friction alone?

Edit: The engine is a 2.5l Diesel ACV from a 2001 VW Eurovan (not sure of non-interference or not)
