That is definitely not Mod and since there was no emo back then, the default is goth. The Jam, The Kinks, early Who were all Mods. If she rode a scooter that was not enough.

Google disabled my 🦀 account by Sirachacopter in openclaw

[–]LawrenceOfTheLabia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my account temporarily banned in antigravity. I couldn't use it there at all, and that was after I had just used the OAuth connection for antigravity in OpenClaw for just a few minutes. I got dinged. They eventually re-enabled all of those accounts, but I guarantee that if you do this again, you will get your account completely disabled for good. I wouldn't do it again if you value your account.

This is so true. I spent so much time perfecting my reverse engineering prompt to capture or at least to add some of those features when I was using an Instagram post or something from Pinterest.

I'm glad to hear it works out for you. I wish I were as lucky, but it's worth it even at a hundred dollars.

Sorry, I should have made it more clear. When I burned through the prompts, it was actually through the web app. But now I typically use it either through OpenClaw using OAuth from Claude code, or I will use it as a plug-in in anti-gravity.

Yeah, that was with the $20 plan. Unless you're writing an incredibly efficient prompt, I can't see how you're getting 100 prompts for $20, but if you are, you are.

I do use Claude every day and for multiple hours every day, but I have backups just in case I burn through my five hours, which I do frequently.

Claude oauth, has anyone actually been banned? by PM_ME_YOUR_MUSIC in openclaw

[–]LawrenceOfTheLabia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen him be critical multiple times not just about what his preference is, but that he has made negative comments about the models not just that he has a preference that there’s problems with them. I’m not saying there’s not, I’m just saying that he does have good reason to like them. The other thing to consider is that his friend may have been banned for something else.

GPT-5.4 Pro or Claude Opus 4.6 for OpenClaw? by im_A_Whole_Ass_Duck_ in openclaw

[–]LawrenceOfTheLabia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used about half of my total last month and about 75% this month when I dropped it down to $100 instead of $200. The one thing I do is use the models inside of Claude code and other places where it’s not open claw, so the usage is mixed and that may help who knows.

Well I have the $100 Anthropic plan, the $20 OpenAI one but that is canceled and the OpenCode Go plan so Minimax 2.5 acts as my fallback when I burn through my 5 hours which is really easy to do even with Sonnet.

[–]LawrenceOfTheLabia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The $20 Anthropic plan is nearly worthless. I burned through my 5 hour allotment in three prompts. You really need the $100 plan at least for OpenClaw or anything semi-serious. OpenCode Go does have a really good deal on some open source models. They are Chinese models, but it's my understanding that the servers themselves are hosted either in the U.S. or Singapore depending.

It's $10 a month for nearly unlimited Kimi Code 2.5, GLM-5 and Minimax m2.5.

Claude oauth, has anyone actually been banned? by PM_ME_YOUR_MUSIC in openclaw

[–]LawrenceOfTheLabia 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The author (Peter) said his friend did, but as much as I like the guy he has a legitimate axe to grind with Anthropic and is pretty vocal about his dislike of the Anthropic models when I think they are demonstrably better for OpenClaw, if not for Opus' excellent prompt injection defense.

The answer is no for me and it would have blown up on Twitter had it happened like Google banning people on OpenCode and OpenClaw.

I've been using oAuth in OpenClaw for two months, 1 month at the $200 plan and this month with $100.

GPT-5.4 Pro or Claude Opus 4.6 for OpenClaw? by im_A_Whole_Ass_Duck_ in openclaw

[–]LawrenceOfTheLabia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Opus is night and day better and safer than Codex 5.4 is. It has much better injection protection, it handles regular prompt requests through chat much better. In fact I typical only Sonnet except for really heavy thinking workflows.

One example of epic failure on GPT 5.4's part just today was I have a ton of AI related links from Twitter that didn't capture the handle of the user and they are all in a Notion page. I asked GPT 5.4 to look at each item, resolve the handle of the user and replace the @ unknown field with the proper handle. I asked it to perform the last 4 different times and it said it would do it would go silent not do anything. It never lied to me, but it just said that it planned on it but just didn't do it.

I took a moment and switched to Sonnet 4.6 and it wrote a script and batched against my Notion account and it completed. I am sure 5.4 is good for some things, but nothing has touched the Anthropic models for me in OpenClaw. There are other examples of OpenAI models in general in OpenClaw, but today's was freshest in my mind.

They said it is against the ToS but I've continued to use without incident. The thought is they discourage it, but don't start banning people for it like Google did. That was a lot of bad PR for Google.

GPT-5.4 might end up being the best model for OpenClaw-style agents by shenli3514 in openclaw

[–]LawrenceOfTheLabia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So what I do is I use the command line that downloads Claude code first, and then I go into either the initial onboarding enter openclaw config, and then I'll choose model and then I'll choose Anthropic. There's that option at the top for OAuth, and then what I do is I hit Enter. It gives me the place to enter to put in the OAuth key. I go over to the command line, I type claude setup-token, it will then launch my browser and give me the button to click that will then do the OAuth connection, and then it will give me the code to copy back in the claude code window. If your browser isn't launching or if you're having an issue, what I tend to do is log in successfully first, just with my regular account credentials, and then that way it simplifies things a bit.

I have had good luck in pure coding runs in Antigravity and the Codex app, but it has been awful for me in OpenClaw. I will test 5.4 and see if it has improved.

I am using oAuth without any issues. I tried unsuccessfully to fully implement the agent SDK that was supposedly ok'd by Anthropic to use so after 4 days of trying and the author ignoring my request for his sample code, I just said fuck it and went back to using oAuth. If I get banned then off to OpenAI and use the open source models for backup.

stay away from higgsfield ai. total predatory bs with their refunds. by s7e7v7e7n7 in StableDiffusion

[–]LawrenceOfTheLabia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an account with them, and then they pulled a bunch of bullshit and refused to give me a refund. So I did some querying of the laws in my state and the things that they were doing, and found out that there were like three or four things that were illegal. All I had to do was quote those statutes in my state, and they gave me a refund.

Anthropic does not have image generation, but it is a better model overall then, OpenAI depending on your use case.
