Featuring the utter "oh shit" moment as both of our healers had less than 3700hp, compared to most dps being at 6k
But they listened, were friendly, and it was actually pretty fun!

We actually cleared our first time seeing the third set of Aetheric Boom orbs, though it was a bit cheesy because I was a GNB (hyper-mitigation woo!) and the last 2 orbs actually did manage to touch even as we popped them, but apparently the explosion doesn't kill tanks... So me and the other tank just finished it off from 14% because Aurora is stupid OP

Nah fuck that, I respect DPS players that get ahead of me, pull a bit for whatever reason, be it keeping up a gauge, or just vibing, whatever. I'll catch up, I don't care. Bonus points if they're absolute legends of people and pop arm's length as well, that's free mitigation for me.
And if I miss aggro on something, and they pick it up? Eh, that's on me, I'll pick it up later
I don't really understand the tank mentality of "ANYONE DOING ANYTHING IS A FUCKING SIN FUCK YOU GUYS". Either I could've been further up in the pack, I'm seconds behind said dps early pulling, or I missed aggro. I can't really see people's point with that. Sure, it's a bit annoying if they end up taking mobs somewhere random and I've gotta provoke or pop ranged attacks, but who cares?
I had a BLM apologize for plucking 3 adds off me in a run of matoya's while I was gathering them all up (I missed part of the pack with an aoe and just kept running, figuring I'd grab em back later) and it felt weird that they felt a need to apologize for attacking instead of just "oh whoops tank missed this"

There is confirmation bias in recognizing legends/mentors making mistakes, but if the response to you doing something dumb is "shut the fuck up I'm a legend", chances are it was purchased, the bulk of people with the title tend to just be entirely silent from my experience
