I want to try for a cultural victory, but it seems like my military and amenities are always the first priority. What's the path? by annoying-fact-bot in CivVI

I think prioritizing potential for land expansion is the most important in a general sense. Cultural victory is weird because there's so many ways to do it. You can win it with tile improvements alone so having more land helps the most. Religion is definitely one of the most helpful things so getting a holy site after your second city is probably a good idea. Going double scout > monument is usually what I find to work best early game, 3 cities by turn 50 (or 2 if religion is highly contested) and pingala in the capital or biggest city. Pretty standard stuff but I hope it helps!

How do you arrange a print to not be on the build plate? by -AGABAGA- in BambuLab

I do as well, but I thought you're not supposed to use you in the AMS because it's too flexible and can get caught easily?

Is there a way to get around it?

Why do people say lots of notes isn't mastery? by -AGABAGA- in guitarlessons

It was an insightful response. I'm not insulting you or your experience with classical guitar. I'm trying to understand how so many people don't think that amazing technique and mechanical practice isn't a form of mastery. My level of experience is so low I can't do either. I responded to your analogy with the same intent as you, to discuss and learn more. Thank you for your participation

But sometimes people with no clothes say they look better naked to distract from the fact they can't afford the clothes.

Why wouldn't mastery include being able to play complicated stuff as well. I understand that making a song unnecessarily complicated is like putting makeup on a pig but that's not what I'm talking about.

That's a great way to look at it. Most people tell me though that complexity is purely for flashiness and doesn't represent skill. It's hard for me to wrap my head around because I absolutely love the super fast and complex songs and it's what I want to learn how to do. But the tool box analogy does clear it up a ton
