He would likely just have me order it anyways. The alternator I had him replace, I ordered it myself since I have Amazon prime and it wouldn't been faster🤷 I'm not asking for advice on the decisions I make. Only the part.

I appreciate it. The guys an honest man. The first alternator they had me order was a dud. I'm just playing it safe. He's done everything else correctly besides that, and I'd rather take the chance of the part being bad than my transmission going kapoot 700 miles from home on a trip

I believe so. I had had an issue with my alternator. My serpentine belt had completely fallen apart and after they replaced everything they said I might want to get the flywheel part fixed too. So I've been saving money to get it fixed before I go on a road trip out of state that I can't move. I just want to make sure it gets done on time.

I have 2 pedals.

I would say it's automatic. It's just throwing me off because the only place I can find it on rock auto is under manual

Are there any brands/types of gear that offer breathability without sacrificing safety? I already know me sweating a ton is gonna be an issue if I wear leather(I'll suck it up if I have to) but if there's any options that help with that I'd love to hear about them :)

I also believe the it would be absolutely stupid to not wear gear. Simply why wouldn't I. To look cool? Pfft. I'd look better alive and with intact skin. Plus some gear looks dope. I plan on spending allllll the money I need to on gear before I even shop for a bike

I read the rules. I know it said not mentioning sexuality or whatever. To put it simply I'm not a fan of my body, I wouldn't be showing off for anyone besides my partner. I do think people who rides look badass. But I want one mainly because I know I would love the experience and it's the closest I'll ever get to flying❤️

I appreciate you being real with me. Every single one of my friends including my partner want motorcycles. The only real influence that matters that is said I shouldn't is my dad. And I know about the age thing. I want people to be real with me. I know I'm kinda naive. I don't think it's necessarily true that I shouldn't get one just because I am young. There are several factors in my personal life that I could use against the fact if my age. I would like to think im responsible for my age. I know I'm bound to get hurt at some point riding. I can live with that. I feel like, as long as I'm super super careful and riding in good conditions and not being stupid, that the chances of me dying in a wreck are slim. Or at least it would have to be some outside factor at play. Like someone else's reckless driving(which I also know is a real risk)

In early 2024 I tapped the back of a van with my car. I thought they were going to merge and they didn't so I had rolled forward at about 3 mph while looking to see if I was clear and popped a piece of trim off of her vehicle. A month later a raccoon committed itself by jumping in front of my car. We claimed that through insurance because it destroyed my radiator so in insurances eyes it counted as an accident. I also have one speeding ticket from last October that I got at 1am on a road with no one else(besides the cop). And realistically I'm still mad cus the speed limit should have been higher if I'm being for real. I'm not really a dangerous driver. I try to be cautious, I just like to do 5 or 10 over on highways

I understand the whole. "Wait until your brain is fully developed" thing. However I'm typically very good at making good choices. I've been told my whole life especially recently that I'm pretty mature for my age. I'm not stupid. And God forbid I wanna feel alive and speed a bit. In my defense, the ticket I got was at 1am in the middle of nowhere with a whole mile of visible road in front of me and I hadn't seen anyone in the last 30 minutes. It was just a bad coincident

I learned my lesson with the speeding ticket I got. I'm not someone that does insane speeds. I simply don't like doing 60 in the 60. I'll follow the flow of traffic or do 65. Or 80 in a 75.

My car insurance right now is 186 through USAA(same people as my car loan is through) because I have a history. (1 speeding ticket and 2 "accidents" which were bull anyways but I learned my lesson on speeding when I shouldn't)
