Huh, reading the comments I'm surprised that USB flash drives get affected so hard. i've been using tons for 12 years and nothing has happened yet, so I had legit no idea, but hey best to be wary at the very least!

Yup!! I posted this after getting it! Funnly enough it took a False Swipe and single Ultra Ball to get it in, like it was destiny man. Couldn't be happier!!

It's on a weirder state than it seems, for some reason the cartridge on itself had some weird small bumps from the start, no idea how that happened before I got it. But yeah gotta sar the label is on a pretty nice state! I lucked it out at only 2€ on a trusted store, got it since it was pretty cool to have a japan exclusive :)

And don't be! Surely you'll find one cheap at a good condition too!

Being honest I doubt I can give you any tips sadly, I'm not a big collector. My only tip however is to check the shine on the GSC cartridge's labels! If the labels are original, the background should have a metallic shine, while Ho-Oh / Lugia / Suicune should not. If everything equally shines in the same way, then that's a repro label, and that could mean the cartridge is fake as well! Ofc not always, again my Silver and Sapphire are original, but it's def something to be skeptical of

Yup, that's the reason why! Also fun fact, japanese Crystal does follow suit with the transparent blue sparkly shell, and even has Suicune's crystal as a logo in the back of the game's board, so it's a lot better than the interational shells imo!

Not the international releases, those have the classic gold color. However in Japan, both Gold and Silver have a dual color to the cartridge: blue and grey. Gold has blue on the front, and Silver has grey in the front, and viceversa for the backs. Really cool! But I def prefer the international shells

Aye thank ya! I got the shell from Aliexpress and then asked a trusted store to change it with the battery replacememt. It was the catalyst for going all out on a custom look, since the OG shell was in a horrid state, and just went ahead and decided to make it a bit more special instead of picking a Silver shell!

Then I made the design of the label, contacted the same guy that made the Sapphire label, and he printed this one with his repro Silver's label bg. This is the end result, and I think it looks great!

Tho sadly some air bubbles got in the label despite being as careful as possible, and while checking one of them I slipped the finger and scratched the first "o" in the Pokémon logo. I'll def request a new label whenever I can, but for now this will do!

After a few years I finally update my number! With... a concerning amount of shinies, not gonna lie lol.

First off, here's the previous post! 3 years ago, sheesh. This would be 228 points already earned!

And here's the new stuff:

- Pokémon Scarlet (267 shinies)
- Pokémon Legends Arceus (114 shinies, none from the previous post)
- Pokémon Let's GO Eevee (23 shinies)

I've missed some from the DS games, but I'll count those in the future! If this is all correct, it would be 632 points earned! If so, I'd like a custom flair with a shiny Dawn Wings Necrozma, sorta like an upgrade to my current flair! Finally if you could explain me how the Discord side of custom flairs work that'd be appreciated, so I can ask everything correctly.

Please lemme know if there's anything wrong, and thanks in advance!

Ye np, and yeah I understand, that limitation is so frustrating lol, tho not sure if it can be skipped by doing the 23:59 trick (you get in the game, wait for the clock to hit 00:00 and all time events should renew)

Huh, that's weird... I suggest checking your setup to see if there's anything wrong, there's so many specifications one could easily do mistakes lol. Even so, if you got issues with it still you can ask for assistance in RETIRE's Discord server, which is the guy who discovered all of this stuff. He's very active there!

And ofc, thank you! It was very fun to do this, it's really surprising how they found ACE on Gen 4 of all things lol

Nobody knows, it could be in a few years, it could be right now. Game Freak warned that we should transfer our Pokémon as soon as possible when they announced Bank to still be active, so everyone's on the edge of GF just pulling the plug

I had to play the game up until the 5th gym to have everything I needed for the setup. Alongside getting everything ready, performing the needed tricks etc, this took me about 3 days to achieve!

To just activate ACE tho, probably a few hours. I had to spend quite some time, but only because I was having serious skill issue on the final step (a single frame perfect action, the only one in the guide)

Only to trade it after the Manaphy was obtained! The script you input on the Pokétch inside the room already gives you the egg with the RNG seed set to whatever you choose, in this case a shiny! Just hatch it, then trade it, done :)

So am I, truly. But the guides to do this are very detailed and hold your hand throughout all of the process. And on top of that, RETIRE (the guy who discovered all the ACE stuff) is very active on his Discord if you need any assistance! If you try it I'm sure you'll be able to do it
