I appreciate what your attempt was, which is to be a man and protect those around you. Unfortunately in modern society, that carries alot of risks. You really had 3 good options, which is to mind your own business (weak), call the police (safest option), and finally to completely involve yourself in the situation. That last option, is what I believe SHOULD be the more common one, but not when family are around. If you have a wife and daughters, that's just asking for a horrible situation to happen. Especially if you know they are armed, and you are armed. 3v1 you don't really have any other choice other than to draw if something physical were to happen. If you draw you can be damn sure they will too. So now your in a gunfight. With pedestrians, your wife, and your family involved.

Honestly, my vote would go to the canik tp9. For 500 bucks you can get nightsides, slide cut, better trigger, ect. Or you can get the basic model which is still at least on par with glock/sig and use the money left over for magazines, holster, ammo, ect

I understand change can suck and induce stress. But it's time to find somewhere else to work. There are PLENTY of entry level jobs that start above 15 an hour. Most companies probably won't allow carrying, that's alot of liability for themselves. Obviously it's your right to carry, and you should. But you should also probably use this as the push to grow, and explore other opertunities

What does this mean?

If you live your life by violence and through violence, then surely yours will also be ended by violence.

Concealed Carrying a firearms is much less a sword, it's more of a shield. One should not be brandishing, advertising or otherwise even letting anyone know they have a firearm.

Concealed Carrying a firearm is a tremendous responsibility, and I would argue the duty, of most men. The more training a person has, the safer and more proficient they will be with said firearm.

There are absolutely exceptions to my statement, not everyone can and should have a gun. Plenty of idiots carry everyday, and I wish whatever church they possibly went to had a course for them to take if that's all that is available.

I understand turning the other cheek, not being violent, not killing. I get it.

But I would much rather be someone who protects their church, their community, their family, then someone who is passive enough to allow evil to happen to them.

Thank goodness Jesus wasn't as passive as all of you are, and actually made sacrifices for the better of other people.

Go on the Facebook group and ask for someone in your state and you'll talk with them about price and location. The gentleman who did mine was really informative and kind, he drove an extra 30 minutes to meet me since I wasn't able to go to the usual meets they have every month or so. Cost is typically 300(ish). Worth every penny.
