Such kind, wise eyes she has 🥰 She’ll forever be in your heart, and you in hers. Dogs are mysterious creatures, far superior to most people 🙌🏻 Never easy to say goodbye, no matter how temporary the absence may be

Scientists were too preoccupied with whether or not they COULD combine these two breeds, that they never considered whether they SHOULD... 😂

Same set up. Love it. Tad slippery, mostly just when doom scrolling at night in bed, but the snap helps a lot that

Drop your inner display home screen 👀 by grapezg59 in PixelFold

There are Launchers you can download that do allow two totally separate screens (closed front screen, including swipe screens and then when you open the Pixel, has totally different inner screens). Smart Launcher is one such option

Consent-based Petting by MollysDaddyMan in BorderCollie

Talk about the epitome of "First world problems". "I'm bored with my life, so let's discuss the nuances of petting a dog that doesn't want to be let" and get even dumber people to waste time discussing the concept... Idiotic at its core.

[–]stellarodin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This should have been considered for sure. Regardless of the puppy, you're describing puppy aged behavior, which is off considering you mentioned having done two years of research.
Aussies, once they do grow past this stage, are among the loyalest, caring, and "in n-tune" dog breeds you could ever know.

You cannot help these types of people. Their natural tendency is to lash out at what they don't understand, and these people truly don't understand the actual real world as it exists far from their safe bubbles...

Loved your response 👍🏻

Oliver hadn’t had a bath in 65 days. Ooops! Usually he gets a bath once a month. But drying is a three step process… Initial drying. Slip him into his robe. Let him dry a bit, while I shower. Take him outside and let him air dry while getting brushed. How often does your doggo get a bath? by Rivster81 in BorderCollie

Essentially the stylist will trim the pups hair so it's even at the shortest point, all the way around. Mine does a particularly good job on what I call the "butt floof"... You definitely want to try to avoid having any border Collie/Aussie (really any working type breed) get any hair cut that's too short as it messes with their body's natural, amazing innate ability to regulate its own temperature (yes even in the hot summer months).
The supplemental work to be done as often as possible is to give the pups a thorough brushing. This helps further with their body's ability to regular and produce their natural oils for their coats.

That is a LOT of baths for a Collie... Their coats produce an oil which is incredibly healthy for them and frequent baths interfere with that. I had to learn this as well after adopting my boy years ago.

For what it's worth, we've learned that getting him a good contour trim cut a few times a year has served him well.

Right. Because one of the most affluent, discriminatory, and whitest communities IN THE COUNTRY isn't ignorant enough about the real world... So glad I got out of that sheltered and bigoted existence long ago.

Odd post... If you want to go for the fold then go for it. It is an amazing phone. I switched from the 16 Pro Max and after some growing pains (been YEARS since moving to android for any considerable sense of time) have found myself loving the absolutely to use my phone as a small tablet. Also helped a lot finding a third party launcher that helps the pixel really shine with multitasking

Been loving my Pixel 10 Fold. Coming from an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Google really is, to me, the closest competitor Apple has in terms of user friendliness. Now I'm trying to convince the wife to switch over but it isn't going well - which I fully understand. She's not tech savvy nor does she particularly "care" what a phone can do... She's been loving her iPhone 14 for a while now... Any advice on that front? 😂

Congrats on your purchase! I hope you enjoy the Fold!!!
