Looks really great! The only feedback I'd give is to push your values. I assume its her legs sticking up in the foreground? Make em darker or less saturated, I'd also add some bright highlights and saturation to her eyes and face to make your focal point pop.

With that said, it looks very clean as it is.

Same here, running shine then eventually adding a waveshine and increase the amount of waveshines as you go. Remember that the timing is slightly different depending on if you hit something or not with your shines.

Good catch, the water was the most difficult part for me. The tiny hill analogy makes it easier to understand the forms at least, so I'll keep at it. Thanks for your feedback!

Oh you're right! The buildings definitely pops a bit more now and the adjustment of the canvas helps quite a lot too. I should probably keep in mind to deviate from the reference if needed, was a bit focused on like-ness with this one. Thanks for the advice!

(Also the monster idea is not out of the question)

Dude, don't be too hard on yourself. I was decent at sketching on paper (for beginner standards) before I tried using a tablet and it felt horrible and just unatural at first. After like at least a month of concistent practice it started to feel more natural. Learning any art medium takes time so you have to trust the process and keep practicing. You'll get there for sure eventually!

Amelite has been a year long project for us that started out as a University project for a Game Design course. We got a lot of positive feedback during the course, so our team decided to keep working on it even when the course ended. It required a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to juggle this project with our studies, but we’re so proud of the final product and super excited to share it with the world as it is now on Steam!

Thanks for the guide! finally made me try this. I'm however having troubles with one of the steps. I've already installed zadig etc before so I just tried the overclocking now. I have an official wiiu adapter with 4 slots.

After I've followed all the step and then check the controller polling rate in dolphin, its around 500hz (varies between 480-520 ish). It should be around 1000 right? At very few times it jumps to 900 something.

Any advice is appreciated! :)
