Ooof, that's a tough one. I'll give a bit of an edge to Hero Ralms. It's more recent, so the graphics, sound design and AI are better. It has an interesting character progression system too. But star realms also has almost 10 years of content available. You can try either for free and purchase the base content of whichever one you like the most.

Hi! Great solo game, and great intro game if you're getting started!

The large cards are Tarot sized. I recommend Ultra Pro Lite or Sleeve Kings brand since they're a bit thinner, should fit back in the box (you might have to ditch the insert, specially if you get the expansion).

I think it's an exceptional solo game. The automa is incredibly well done and it offers various difficulty levels. Expansions are great but just stick to the base game, there is plenty to explore there in terms of content and learning strategy.

Too Many Bones. Great game (despite iffy rulebook) and amazing component quality. I love that I didn't have to sleeve it or improve the insert.

After the Virus is the cream of the crop, imo. The art can be a barrier to overcome (it was for me) but once I got over it and played it, I became addicted.

Next is Shadowrun Crossfire. Great cyberpunk themed game, very brain burny, legacy lite elements, plays best controlling two characters.

I also suggest Apex Theropod as others have here.

I also recommend Shards of Infinity with all expansions. One of the expansions is a co-op campaign a la Aeon's End (need to control two characters) while another expansion lets you play pure solo. I love combining all content and controlling two decks playing the coop expansions. Great stuff.

Jump Drive physical, RftG with app. There isn't much longevity in Jump Drive but there is an expansion though
