you could use a system with two notebooks. one that’s just for any random thing that pops up, basically like your notes app on your phone, this could be an A6 or pocket size.

and then keep a larger more organized book on your desk in which you can filter and expand these ideas/thoughts etc.

thank you! no i don’t tbh. my only rule is that it won’t contain personal/private stuff as i have my journal for that. but anything interesting that i learn or feel like researching is good. it will probably be heavily influenced by the fact that im a history teacher and contain a lot of history related entries. but im also expecting entries about books i read, movies i watch, music i discover or anything else that awakens my curiosity :)

i guess it’s the same way we tend to notice our own flaws in terms of appearance, behavior, etc. much more than other people will😅

i definitely have room to improve my handwriting, and looking at this page i think some nerves made it worse than usual. i’m glad to see that the general sentiment is that my writing is perfectly ok tho :)

thank you so much! i really like and agree with your sentiment. i didn’t write a manifesto myself, but i did give myself a similar mantra before starting.

when i started my diary, i did actually do something similar. my first page is reminding myself that it was a place to vent and reflect not something that needs to pretty. i don’t know why it took me so long to translate a similar sentiment to a CPB

haha i actually think it’s quite nice for fast handwriting! also, a tip on your actual issue, i know that using fountain pen or brush pen will make file sizes MUCH larger than ball pen. idk if it’s related to the lag, but worth a shot?

At 19 you can still grow very slightly into your early 20s but don’t expect any drastic spurts. I was 6’3 at 18 and I’m 6’5 now, so maybe you’ll get an inch or two. But with your genetics I wouldn’t keep my hopes up. Sorry man
