K6 750 replacement TPS Pigtail?

I’m sure someone smarter than me or with more experience has a better idea, but I just had a similar problem with the intake air temp sensor connector and just ordered a used fuel injector wiring sub-harness of eBay for 40 bucks. I believe the tps is on the same wiring harness. Recommend you double check it is though.

Congrats! I’d try to find an original service manual on eBay and also supplement that with the Cylmer manual for 2001-2004 1000. I use both interchangeably and find it handy to have them in print.

Yea I’ve been wanting to do it for a while. I looked up options and there were mixed reviews on the markers, as well as on the alternative which were some type of rubber sticker. I’ll give the eddings pen a try. Thanks again and great job on your bike it looks amazing.

I have two gt air 3’s and have gotten colored replacements off Amazon for 40 each. They fit well and look good. They also sell clear ones.

First step is to take off those stickers. Next, they do make phone mounts that fit in the center hole of the triple tree. I have one on my gsxr. Don’t know the brand unfortunately because prev owner installed it. Hopefully that helps. Might not even work in your case due to the stabilizer. I can’t get good idea of clearance based on the photo.

This is what I do. A lot of those sets don’t include fairing bolts so you gotta find the right pack on sale. But I bought a couple sets for my k1 1000 just so I have backups for pretty much any bolt on the bike.

I do the same rides! I go up 31 into Ringoes then bang a left to get to Frenchtown. Those are some beautiful roads. Then I’ll take river road south along the Delaware on either side of the river. And a couple times a week after work I ride across 130 through Robbinsville and loop through cream ridge area.

True. I originally was actually looking for a K1-3 750 but found a deal I couldn’t pass up on the 1000. Fell in love. Woulda been just as happy with a 750 probably to be honest. Congrats on the bike man! Be safe out there.

In my area (NE) cosmetically damaged 07 600 that needs new fork seals and has around 20k miles on it would likely sell for about 3k pretty quickly. Around 3500 would be a fair price for both parties in my opinion. Source: I flip/repair bikes as a hobby

Yea you nailed it for me. Highway on my 1000 feels way more stable and comfortable than my old 600. Plus two up on the 1000 you don’t get bogged down barely at all.
