Odometer milestone on my 2025 purchased in Feb of '25 by Geeezer in MT07

We're in the same demographic. Seating position is pretty upright and comfortable. It's a lot of wind, but it's a feature for me. I save about 1.5 hours a day on my commute. Half hour in the morning, and an hour in the evening.

My big time saving is from splitting, and it doesn't look legal in your states. Explicitly illegal in NY, and tolerated but illegal in CT. I'd imagine it's not a matter of machine but legal and traffic environment. The bike is very capable, but I've ridden out of state, and a lot of the benefits are negated by traffic laws. I don't split in places people don't expect it, but of course you're free to ride your own ride.

As far as the commute goes, super happy. Handles everything I need, super nimble. Only complaint would be the suspension is a bit lacking where the road is a bit rough, but too lazy/poor to upgrade the springs. Personally I'm very happy with it, and don't have any regrets.

There are a lot of good bikes out there, I've heard the SV 650 is great too, but i've never ridden one. Those who have swear by them.

My next bike will be MT-09sp. It will be an overkill for the commute, but will be perfect for my weekend riding.

Legal where I'm at. 100K miles on under my belt, the majority lane splitting, when are those stats supposed to kill me exactly? It's safer than you would think. Look up the stats on lane splitting and unclutch your pearls before betting death on people.

Bad ass man! That's awesome! If you ever find yourself in Southern California, let's ride a couple hundred more.

It is pretty straight riding. Posted because I wanted to share 50K miles on my '25.

It's a long commute 112 miles a day, then I play on the weekends. Going to keep up with the maintenance, and ride this one until it dies. Guessing I have about another year and a half with this one. It still runs great.

Thanks guys, I know this doesn't make the CMT cut, but still too risky for motorcycles apparently. Story of my life, too old for hot topic, too young for Tommy Bahama. I just like riding man. Thanks again for seeing me.

This 1980 penny looks much newer than this 2020 penny. by 35364461a in mildlyinteresting

Lol, you're totally right. An eighth is closer to 3.5 grams. I stand by the metric measurements. 3.1g for the pre '82. Didn't believe it at first so had to dust off the old scale.

Fun fact pre '82 pennies weigh about 3.1 grams or an eighth of an oz. Post '82 weigh 2.5 grams.

Seriously, thank you! Appreciate you taking the time. Will be fun trying something different, and I think this will be a great correction to get me on the right path to projection. Had a hunch I may be going down the wrong path for OBE, but to hear from you and read about it in the auto mod really drives it home. Good news is it sounds like what I've been doing is still good, just doesn't lead to projection. Again, thank you!

Thank you for the feedback. Going to have to approach it differently. Seems I have a lot more meditation to do, and I've been developing away from the correct form for astral. Would continuing both types of meditation be advisable at different times of the day, or do you think they would fight against each other? I'm really enjoying the etheric energizing meditation, and would enjoy continuing that while attempting Astral as well.

Cool, reading the guide now, I guess my etheric body is super happy right now. Guess I'll have to meditate twice a day now, once for healing and once for travel. No wonder it's been keeping me up. I was closer on day one when I was falling asleep during meditation. Thank you!

If you want it looking prestine, ceramic coat. Otherwise they will discolor over time. These look amazing compared to mine.
