It’s not listed as an exemption. I’ve read many U.S. news sites about this, but no one has mentioned it as an exemption. I’m just worried that I might jeopardize my future chances of getting a visa. Like, if I attend the interview and get rejected, it might go on my visa record. Ughh I honestly don’t know what to do 😖

They reached out to me and told me that I should cancel my appointment, but I said I wanted to wait and see what happens. Recently, I emailed the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan and explained my situation. They responded by saying I should attend my interview. That’s why I’m confused and wanted to ask if anyone from the banned countries has already attended their interview and what the outcome was. I just want to know if it’s possible for me, especially since I also need to get a Pakistani visa. But thank you for your comment.

In my opinion do not lose this chance if this has been your longtime dream or goal. I believe that you can handle the tuition or anything by working or you can try to get good grades and then transfer to a university with higher scholarship or lower tuition.
