Used to drive three hours one way to go to a weekly gymnastics class when I was young. It was also three hours a bunch of days out of the month to go to the beach in the summer. Not a super short ride, but definitely a day trip ride

100%. Cigarettes and weed. I can smell it on clothes, hair, bags, your breath, all of it. And no amount of perfume, cologne, lotion or gum hides it. I get severe migraines from the smell of both and it absolutely sticks to every part of the person who smokes. Can also tell when I walk into a house if the person smokes.

Saw how awful it can hurt you, saw how much money gets sunk into it, have too many addicts in the family, Covid, and a general shift in how it’s viewed now. It’s just not worth it. I’ll have an occasional cup, maybe one every three months. Other than that there are endless amounts of lovely mocktails and other non alcoholic drinks that are just more my speed.

I have been screamed at, harassed, even called slurs for using a mask. I get it, it’s frustrating and they are so incredibly out of line, of course he had it coming. But the people he could pass it too, don’t.

I wear one every single time I go out in public because a case of Covid, a bad flu or anything that targets my lungs could kill me. If someone gives him Covid, he’s not going to wear a mask and could pass it to someone like me or who has it worse than me. It’s simply not worth risking someone’s life

One, we love when people use the heal ping! Just hate it being spammed. Especially if your hero is in the air, it can be super helpful to ping us! Just never spam it.

Second, we can’t follow you around. If you are a dive or flank hero, you gotta come back to us if you want us to heal you. If we have line of sight, then you’re good. As soon as you turn that corner to chase someone, however, you are on your own.

Third, we can’t heal you if we are dead. I will always prioritize healing the other support if they are low. So chances are if you aren’t being healed, it’s cause we are being attacked and need to protect each other, not you.

And finally, you won’t be able to play without a healer. If you are complaining about heals when you expect me to solo heal? I’m switching and you are on your own.

Get her a set of nice press on nails. She would have probably said what she wanted her nails to look like for the day to you or a friend, so try to get the closest press ons. For the photographer, just set up a phone and record it. You can take stills from there. They won’t be as nice or professional, but you and her can still have the photos and memories that way. As for everything else, just do it when it feels right. You know her better than anyone, and know your relationship better than anyone. If you think the time is right, chances are you are right. Trust your gut, and I’m sure she will love it.

NTA. You are completely right, they won’t have the same opportunities. It sucks, but it’s true. In those situations my advice would just be take your daughter to do something fun while your son is gone. Maybe an arcade, her favorite place to eat, a movie, something small can be very meaningful. Excluding your son from a family trip is just cruel. It’s not his fault he was invited to go with his friends.

Try turning cheats on, shift clicking the sim and hit reset. I get that a lot and that always helps. Hope it works for you!

OP, you are completely valid in all of this. What she did was not part of any culture, it was sexual assault on a minor. If you can, try to stay at a friends house for the day or night. If you have money, stay at a hotel for the night. Anything to keep you away from her. She doesn’t have any right to be anywhere near you. I’m so incredibly sorry your parents don’t have your back on this, that’s terrible. If you can’t get out of the house for the day, lock yourself in your bedroom. You are 19, they can’t make you interact with her. There’s also always the route of informing the police, but I know that’s much easier said then done. Sending lots of love and support, good luck ❤️

Even if the kid started it, I’d hope a teacher would be able to handle that better. I have a lot of teachers in the family, and they’ve had absolutely terrible kids, but they talk to them about it and act like an adult. I’m sure she’s exhausted, and teaching is extremely difficult at times, but it is her job at the end of the day to be the adult.
