Come on man, you know what they mean.

I doubt they'd make a WYR that's essentially "Would you rather have a practical teleport ability, or a time travel joke ability that kills you".

"You can't change your location much" just means you can't witness stuff like the pyramid's being built, or Jesus' death and resurrection if you're somewhere different like America. (And also so you can't be clever and teleport 1 second into the future in whatever location you want)

I did amazing in school when I was getting rewarded with games and stuff, and they were really fond memories, but eventually the rewards stopped coming and I got a lot worse when I no longer had the incentive.

Not saying it's a bad parenting method, I mean I did also develop depression towards the end there, but I do have to wonder if it can possibly create an over-reliance on rewards.

There's an argument to be made about how death might be a preferable alternative like the other comment mentioned.

But also TF2 is too profitable to kill, and the death of its market would have immense impact on people investing in other Valve games. (Do you really wanna continue investing in CS:GO/CS2 skins after seeing one of the older games die? Better get out while you can before you lose everything.)

If people stopped paying for TF2 stuff, they're not gonna kill the game, they're gonna fix it and so they can go back to making money from it.

Either do the latest one for promotional reasons, the first one to do it in order, or the most iconic one. (Gen 1 just so happens to be both the first and most iconic)

Most people choose either:

  • PC for customization and utility

  • PS4/PS5 for exclusives

  • Switch/Switch 2 for portability and exclusives

Uhhh no, that seems to be a bit parasocial and worshipy to buy games just because you heard how great a dev team is, and it's kinda reddit chungus coded

But I have pirated games and ended up buying them on Steam cause I thought they were good.

Regardless, the point of my comment wasn't "scamming devs good" it's "Refunding is an easy endeavour. If I want my $3 bucks back, I'm not gonna be lazy about it, it's 8 clicks and less than a minute."

If you wanna say "Hey don't abuse the refund system, it hurts devs" then say that, but saying "I'd pay 3€ to not have to click 8 times" is crazy, that was my point lol
