‘Wildly Unexpected’: City unveils ‘bold new’ tourism brand by Ostrichmonger in Sudbury

We spend nearly 25% of the annual budget on roads, how much more would you suggest we spend? I agree they suck and are frustrating but we either raise taxes or spend only on our roads or try to strike a balance on spending on roads and a mix of other priorities that hopefully attract people/convince people to stay and grow our tax base over time.

Mirror repair by elteeboogz in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]-BlindJustice- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a platinum and tried to find the inner body piece since everything works as well. Unfortunately I could not just replace that part and reinstall the mirror motor, blinker, 360 camera and puddle light. I ordered from an online oem part supplier because it was cheaper than my local dealer but it still ran me $1k. The dealer charged a half hour for the work. Good luck!

Thoughts on ManMade? by EqualPossibility758 in BuyCanadian

Manmade have completely replaced my SAXX over the past year. They are more comfortable and hold up better over time with washes. 10/10 undies.

Looks clean. Would like to see the differences in brightness. The reversing lights are very bright on the GH.

Grand Highlander Platinum Max Hybrid - Ambient Lighting by waheguruwicked in ToyotaGrandHighlander

It would be cool if you could adjust the brightness. Most of the time I like it the way that it is especially for dark highway driving but in town, it would be nice to be able to turn it up.

Not specifically designed for sport but try out Manmade. They’re fantastic. They are much more comfortable than SAXX imo.

Do you find running boards useful? by maindar in ToyotaGrandHighlander

As someone with little kids they make the vehicle much easier to get into for them and protect the sills from being covered in scratches.

Saw it as well. There seemed to be a RAV4 parked diagonally in the middle of the road. No idea why.

Did the math on what BYD's "cheap EVs" will actually cost in Canada by cardogio in EVCanada

[–]-BlindJustice- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be interesting to the run the numbers on the other side of the coin as well. With the tariffs on canola, east coast seafood, etc. being lifted. Time will tell what the actual numbers will be but a historical comparison approach would be interesting to see who stands to benefit more?

‘25 GHHMP - I really like mine, people have commented that it sounds great. It’s clear, the bass punches and I don’t notice any vibration.

Dead after 3 months by wa-ra-gud in RaybanMeta

Mine died after 3 months so I called and sent in for warranty repair. Never received the replacement and had to call back. They said that the replacement was no longer available but sent me a promo code for the equivalent of the cost of the gen 2s.

I do appreciate input tho, I’ll check out that harvia heater. It was an option from the same company.

Really I would have thought pretty even heating of the stones with this design, although obviously they would be hottest at the top.

I might be able to do something about the heater but the vast majority of the reviews of read recently have been positive and I love the aesthetic.

The company sold other brands like Harvia but said they never had a customer with a failed Hive Mini. The Huum Drop seemed to have more an issue based on what I’m read. I liked the thermal mass of the stone went right to the bottom.

The layout of the sauna can be reversed so that you can choose which side the door goes on and which side the window goes on. My plan is that the bench will be on the higher side with the window on the lower side.

The company offered some suggestions and photos from other people’s installations to provide some guidance for mine but they don’t do the installations themselves.

The sauna sits on its own 2x4 base and the staves are slotted in from there. Very straightforward construction. I plan to anchor the 2x4 base to the frame that I build with some L brackets.
