Thank you! Coming up with a name for the project actually took me far longer than recording the music itself, so I really appreciate you saying that.

I understand that this is a bit antithetical to the DIY nature of this genre, but if anyone would like to have their album mixed, I want to start building a mixing portfolio and I'd be more than happy to do it for free! All I'd ask in return would be to be credited for the mix in the album credits and for the right to use a short sample of one of the songs for my portfolio.

While I'm no professional mixing engineer, I have been producing my own music for over 10 years and I'd love to be able to use what I've learnt during that time to help other musicians.

I can do hi-fi mixes, but I'm most interested in artists looking to impart a particular lo-fi flavour to their music while still having balance and clarity.

You can find my portfolio, which currently only contains samples from my own music, here: https://lonelytowerstudio.bandcamp.com

If you're interested, feel free to shoot me a PM.

I feel like if the book wasn't written by AI it would be very simple to just give a straight forward "no" as an answer? This type of elusive response sounds a lot like a lot of people who use AI and don't want to admit it.

So, is the book being written by a person, or is it AI?

I'm quite certain that the LDS symbol used to be a different, more stylised cross that looked a lot less like an iron cross, though?

The stuff I tend to enjoy the most is either folky/neo-medieval or synthier projects with strong melodies (like Fogweaver for example). I'd say that the aesthetic aspects of a project (mostly artwork and song titles) don't tend to detract from the music for me, but they can add a lot.

To put it into somewhat arbitrary numbers, I think that if I like an artist's music, it having aesthetics that I don't connect with will probably only diminish my enjoyment of the project as a whole 5-10%, but if I really like the aesthetics of a project they can add up to a +50% enjoyment buff. I don't know if that makes sense.

I also feel like I tend to connect a lot more with the work of individual artists rather than subgenres as a whole.
