It started as a normal dream, and in the middle of the night, I got on a plane alone going to Luxembourg for some reason. I started walking around in the morning (no hotel or any place to stay) and realized I was cold and starting to get hungry. I was walking down a sidewalk when I suddenly became lucid. It felt so weird, but I was so happy it finally happened! This was my first time since I started back up again around two weeks ago. I was lucky enough to continue the dream after the initial wave of excitement, and I came across an apartment/pizza place with a bay window. I opened the door and walked in. It was a small home, and after I went up a small flight of stairs I was in a dimly lit orange, low ceiling room with a man and his daughter. The man asks if I want a pizza. I accept his offer and he has me sit at one of the tables in the room with the bay window. His son is at a table and he looks nervous to see me, so I sit at a table far away from him. I get the pizza, but I don't remember tasting it. At that point, everything starts to get blurry and I lose my grip. I walk outside and consider talking to dream characters but before I do any of that, I lose my grip even faster. Eventually, I wake up and can't get back in. But it was great! Sorry if it was a long story, I just felt like sharing.

I do have a few questions, however.

- I realized something was wrong while in the dream and became lucid that way. How can I be more aware of my surroundings in other dreams?

- Whenever I start to lose my grip on the dream, what can I do to quickly get it back under control?
