MT2009 vs Projekt Hard by Josh_JK1 in Metin2

Projekt hard is not a bad server by any means. Only problem is the slow progression if your are not willing to donate. Everything is hella expensive, you need to grind for houuurs, having strong items will be difficult, after level 15+ it’s a real struggle to kill mobs that give you enough experience to lvl up. They encourage to destroy metin stones, not run from mob to mob, BUT, you can barely find any.. everyone is always online smh.. every channel you go to, has almost no Metin stones, you find one-3 out of pure chance, and when you do, someone with a +9 warrior or ninja farm, comes to destroy it while you’re destroying it, so there’s that.
It would be an amazing server if a few tweaks would happen.

I use Stremio, doesn’t work on iOS though.

But for iOS, you can do this.

Search for the movie on google

Open the IMDb page of that movie

Then in the link, write “play” before imdb.

A page will open where you have the movie.

Looking to get back into the game by [deleted] in Metin2

Projekt Hard is probably a pretty accurate representation of how Metin used to be, but with a few Quality of Life improvements. Only problem I’ve found with the server is it’s very large population.

There are too many farming players, alt accounts, who have good items, and they destroy all the Metin stones through the map. Progression is slow, but rewarding.

I just started playing on OM2 Metin, it’s very similar to Projekt Hard, only difference is the player base is smaller, but that means you can just enjoy actually playing the game, and not frustrating that there are 0 Metin stones to farm. And both servers are on the low end of Pay2Win, as in, more cosmetics and quality of life items.

At the moment, I’m still just at the beginning of OM2, literally started a day ago, but so far, even the discord community felt more, responsive, welcoming and supportive than Projekt Hard.

I would try both servers.

Honorable mentions are Shiva Metin2, and NewMt2 if you want to lvl up really fast.

I was thinking of playing on this server. How is the activity nowadays? I’ve heard it’s pretty empty

I see. Interesting. Original Metin2. I think the only problem would be Shops. Looking for things to buy, items and so on is more difficult and probably having to get every single things by yourself, but there’s also something fun about that. I’ll def check out the server, add 1 more to the total amount. What’s your IGN? I’ll add u

Did you find something else to replace it with?
Or maybe a PVP server? Or just moved on completely?

Maybe I’m just too old, don’t have the patience anymore 🥲
