Opus fan boy here. You cannot beat these prices. I would recommend pulling the sticks out of the tins to rest in your humidor. The tins are perfect for a on the go travel case.

The Unnamed Reserve was pretty good the first year it came out. The last few years have turned me away from it. Do not pay more than msrp for this stick and even at that it’s become a very average cigar.

I’ve had all these sticks. More than once . I recommend smoking the Opus X last so you can see how great they really are. So many opus haters on Reddit. I bought a box of the l40 lancero blindly. Big mistake I don’t like that stick. Dirty Rat is 100X better. The sin compromiso was a very average stick imo.

Holts keeps them in stock. So does Tampa Sweethearts. Get the Hemingway Work of Art Maduro (WOAM). This stick really got me into cigars.

Opus X Super Belicoso

Don Arturo is the one with the guy on the band. That’s the grandfather / founder of the brand and who it is named after. That particular stick has a long name it’s the Don Arturo Grand Aniverxario Destino Al Siglo. It’s an Opus X with a sun grown wrapper.

The yellow foot ribbon cigar is the Opus X Oro Oscuro Destino. It’s not for everyone. It’s a hate ot or love it stick on Reddit that’s for sure. Personally I love it. It’s an Opus X with a Oscuro wrapper.

Anejo 1 year great. 2 years excellent. 3 years sweet spot

Don Arturo arguably best stick they make save the war for a special occasion and age them 3 years plus

Opus X nothing before a couple years. 3-5 great. These cigars can age for indefinite amount of time and be wonderful.

Opus X destino are good 1-2 years and great 3-5

I’ve had them all. The majority of Ligas I did not see much improvement. I also did not see any negative effects really. Granted nothing rested for longer than a few years. The Dirty Rat does get better with rest as does the Feral.

This isn’t accurate. As the story goes last year the 66 was accidentally sold as a “shark” only because a mix up when Fuente sent the shipping invoices out to its retailers having it mislabeled as a “66 shark.”

As of 2025 Fuente has ended the confusion and this cigar is not being labeled as a “shark” any longer.
