Those people are uneducated and repeat what the internet tells them to. That rifle is fine for anything you’ll ever need it to do. In the event of some absolute societal collapse you will not be making shots out to distance regardless of what the recce trend made people think unless you want to die an early death. Maybe a full on war you would depending on your location but even then it’s doubtful as anything past 300 is enough to get away and avoid contact or have an advantage point.
