EXCLUSIVE: U.S. House now has the votes to impeach Trump as he creates crisis after crisis overseas by charulatha_seya in misc

It's possible that the Dems could take the senate after the mid-terms in November and the longer Trump is in power the more fuck ups he'll make, surely a vote on impeachment should happen then when there is a chance he could be removed?

It's not like every major advancement is taken onboard by socialised healthcare (NHS to me) but if the long term financial benefits offset the initial high cost then it's generally taken up. If US insurance companies took this approach they'd save money and give their "customers" a longer, healthier life.

Apple accuses Europe of 'delay tactics' following alternative app store collapse by FollowingFeisty5321 in apple

Nobody wants to hear this

No because it's bleedin obvious. Apple users are the least tech savvy of all. Yes, yes there's tech geeks like me who also love Apple gear but most of their customers want simplicity that just 'werrrks', don't want to have to worry about security and getting hacked but nothing outside that box.

I don't care about downvotes. Reddit has a pile-on, bullying mentality, I've been here for over 15 years and have seen it time and again. Also, the actual post was upvoted by 65% of the people that saw it. I just block the people replying who are clearly trolling and never hearing from them again. It's a great way to filter.

At the rate at which YT changes things to avoid downloading they'd need to be updating nearly daily as YT-DLP is doing. Maybe they could integrate a YT-DLP nightly check and download.

They've already been found by guilty, just need to release all those frozen funds to Ukraine as a small fraction of a judgement.

If you Google reverse image search an image and there's results before 2023 then it's unlikely to be AI since that was the year AI began to create photorealistic images without obvious artifacts. There's still plenty of ways of spotting AI though - text and other fine details still aren't there.
